Italy and Amsterdam Success!
The food is definitely a highlight. The Murano glass factory in Venice was an amazing experience..The winery tour we took in Chianti Country in Florence was exquisite. I had bottles shipped home. I went to Rome for the first time when I was a senior in high school. To return more than 20 years later was amazing. Going to the same landmarks of ancient Rome and learning about this lush history that affects all of us on the tours was wonderful. The blend of ancient & modern in that city still gets me. It was so hot, but never a regret being there. To finish the trip in Amsterdam where it was a little cooler and a little more relaxed as we wanted was the perfect ending to a perfect once in a lifetime trip. We didn't want to leave! I can't wait to go back again! Katrina was so receptive to all of our requests as we came up with them. I felt very comfortable & confident with what she was providing for us, suggestions she had for us, and great tours that she found for us to look at.
