Portugal Journey

In October 2025, I joined a familiarization trip To Portugal that offered a beautifully curated journey through Portugal, blending luxury hospitality, culture, gastronomy, and iconic city experiences in Porto, the Douro Valley, Coimbra, and Lisbon. The itinerary began in Porto with private airport transfers, a site inspection and welcome lunch at Torel Avantgarde, a guided walking tour through the city’s historic core, and a visit to Livraria Lello, one of the world’s most celebrated bookstores. The first evening concluded with a site inspection and dinner at Torel 1884, setting the tone for a trip that paired thoughtful hotel experiences with elevated local discovery.The journey continued along the Douro with a sailboat navigation aboard Julieta, lunch and visit at Quinta Nova, and a site inspection at Torel Quinta da Vacaria, followed by dinner at Yakuza By Olivier. After moving on to Coimbra for a guided visit to the University and Joanina Library, the group traveled to Lisbon for a two-night stay at Torel Palace Lisbon. In the capital, the experience included a sidecar city tour, a gastronomic walking tour, a cultural shopping experience featuring iconic Portuguese brands and historic shops, and a memorable Fado evening with dinner at Casa de Linhares. This fam trip showcased Portugal as an ideal destination for clients seeking a seamless blend of boutique luxury, authentic culture, and immersive food and wine experiences.

I was also fortunate enough spend some time on Madeira Island known for its dramatic landscapes, mild year-round climate, and refined but relaxed pace. It blends rugged coastline, mountain scenery, and vibrant botanical beauty with charming towns, exceptional cuisine, and excellent opportunities for hiking, sailing, and scenic escapes.
