My first cruise was in 2021 at the re-start of cruising after the pandemic. I started selling travel in 2019 and it became evident quickly that many families needed help with cruising. Many travel agents left the industry during the pandemic, but I decided to dive into this new world of cruising. Cruising in 2021 came with challenges such as required vaccinations and time-sensitive testing. Luckily, many of these challenges have disappeared as we leave the pandemic behind us.

My commitment to selling cruises meant that I needed to fully understand the ins and outs of cruising. One of the ways I did this was by cruising. In one year, I cruised Liberty of the Seas from Galveston, Odyssey of the Seas from Fort Lauderdale, Scarlet Lady from Miami, Disney Dream from Port Canaveral, and Norwegian Jewel from Vancouver. Since that year, I've continued to sail. We spent one spring break on the Caribbean Princess sailing to Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. We celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary on board the Wonder of the Seas for an Eastern Mediterranean cruise. I celebrated my 40th birthday with a group of nearly 50 on board the Icon of the Seas. 

My cruise knowledge continues to grow. I earned my Master Cruise Counsellor certification from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association.) I've also expanded into river cruising as well. I am also a Distinctive Voyages host and host one cruise each year. I hosted guests on the Azamara Pursuit last fall through the Adriatic Sea and will host another group on Star Pride through Iceland.
