I started working in the travel industry 4 years ago and have developed a true passion for travel. Looking back, I think that my travel bug started with a 3 week trip to India 12 years ago. This was my first experience "travelling" as opposed to taking a vacation. The best way to describe my experience was like looking at a college that encompassed all 5 senses working together in harmony and yet at the same time in contrast to each other. The culture and people were amazing!

Since beginning my career as a travel consultant, I have been fortunate to visit some amazing exotic places such as Egypt, Jordan, Vietnam, and Cambodia. The city of Petra in Jordan was on the top of my bucket list and it certainly did not disappoint. I can still remember walking through the Siq (a beautiful narrow gorge of about 1.2 km). Our guide stopped us at just the right moment so that we could stop and take in a view of the Treasury that could be seen peeking through the opening. This brought tears to my eyes as I realized I was actually here, in person. As we walked through, the Treasury came into full view, even more spectacular than any pictures.

I love adventure travel and have recently also discovered River Cruising. With River Cruising there is a new destination (port) each day without having to pack and unpack. Many of the ports can be experienced easily by simply walking off the ship and continuing right into the heart of the city or town. A great way to visit multiple countries in 7 days or more, safely and with ease. Most of your travel is done at night while sleeping.

It is moments like these that I hope to help my clients experience when assisting them in planning their next trip.
