About Me

We all have that one trip we dream about — watching glaciers calve in Alaska, sipping Glühwein along Europe’s rivers, or standing beneath the dancing glow of the Northern Lights. Yet, so many travelers wait until the “right time” to book it.

Here’s the truth: the perfect time to start planning your bucket list trip is now.

As a travel advisor who designs once-in-a-lifetime itineraries and personally hosts several small-group adventures each year, I’ve seen firsthand how early planning turns dreams into unforgettable journeys.

1. Better Pricing and More Availability

Popular destinations and cruises — like my hosted Alaska Inside Passage Cruise — can sell out months, even years, in advance. Booking early often means:

  • Access to the best cabins and room categories
  • Early booking discounts and promotions
  • More time to budget and plan excursions

When you secure your spot ahead of time, you get peace of mind knowing you won’t miss out — and your wallet will thank you later.

2. The Luxury of Time

Planning a big trip takes care and attention. From flights and pre-stays to excursions and dining reservations, early preparation allows us to build your trip exactly how you envision it.

Whether it’s combining your Rockies to the Red Rocks rail journey with extra nights in Moab, or adding a post-cruise extension to your European river voyage, time is the greatest luxury of all.

3. Better Customization and Upgrades

When we start planning early, I can secure exclusive upgrades, VIP experiences, and hidden gems that often aren’t available last-minute.

Imagine a private glacier-view dinner in Alaska or a sunrise photo session in the Norwegian fjords — these moments define your trip, and they require thoughtful timing.

4. Peace of Mind — Especially During Peak Seasons

Travel has come roaring back, and demand is higher than ever. Flights, hotels, and tours fill up quickly, especially for destinations like Alaska and Europe’s rivers during the summer months.

Planning early removes the last-minute stress and allows you to simply anticipate the adventure ahead.

5. The Joy of Anticipation

Half the fun of a bucket list trip is the excitement leading up to it.

You’ll have time to research destinations, learn about the culture, shop for travel gear, and imagine every unforgettable detail. Anticipation isn’t just exciting — studies show it’s one of the most rewarding parts of the travel experience.

Your Bucket List Deserves a Date

If you’ve been waiting for “someday,” make it this day. Whether you’re dreaming of glaciers, mountains, or magical markets, planning early means your adventure is guaranteed.

Matt planned our 10 day trip to Ireland including personal drivers each day. Ou daily activities started at 9am each day. We saw and experienced everything there was to do each day. Matt provided tour guides for the 2 of us. At ages 80 and 82 it was a dream trip for us. Matt made airline changes for us so we could visit friends in Switzerland before returning home to Whidbey Island WA. Matt is so easy to work with and accommodating. 5*

Best Company Trip I’ve Ever Been On
Reviewed By Ana C - Reno, NV | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
From the moment we landed in Vegas, everything felt effortless. Flights, transfers, and hotel check-in were smooth, and it was clear this trip was extremely well planned. The private dinner at Bourbon Steak was next-level — incredible food, amazing service, and such a special atmosphere for our team. Renting out Swingers Mini Golf for the after-party was such a fun and unexpected touch. Huge credit to Matt for creating an experience that felt both luxurious and genuinely fun. He gave plenty of communication about which flight I was placed on along with a detailed itinerary.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
