About Me

As a seasoned travel agent specializing in European escapes, I’ve witnessed the magic that Ireland weaves on every visitor. From the rolling green hills of the countryside to the lively pubs of Dublin, the Emerald Isle offers a tapestry of experiences that blend ancient heritage with modern flair. Here’s my expert guide to curating an unforgettable Irish adventure.

 Why Ireland?

Ireland’s compact size belies its diversity. Within a few hours’ drive, travelers can transition from rugged Atlantic coastlines to vibrant urban centers, from stately castles to quaint villages. The warm hospitality—known as “céad míle fáilte,” or “a hundred thousand welcomes”—ensures every guest feels part of the story. Whether your clients crave history, gastronomy, adventure, or simply the chance to unwind amidst stunning scenery, Ireland delivers.

Best Time to Visit

While Ireland’s weather is famously changeable, the best window runs from late May through early September. Summer brings longer daylight (up to 18 hours!), milder temperatures, and a full calendar of festivals—from Galway’s arts extravaganza to Cork’s jazz week. Shoulder seasons (April–May and September–October) offer fewer crowds, lower rates, and equally enchanting landscapes, especially with spring blossoms or autumnal hues.

Crafting the Itinerary

Dublin Delights (2–3 Days):

  • Cultural Foundations: Book a guided tour of Trinity College and the Book of Kells, followed by a pint at the historic Guinness Storehouse.
  • Literary Roots: Arrange a walking tour through Dublin’s literary landmarks—James Joyce’s haunts, the Oscar Wilde House, and the iconic pubs where poets and authors found inspiration.
  • Hidden Gems: Recommend dinner at a modern gastropub in the Docklands, or an evening of traditional music in Temple Bar’s cozier lanes.

 West Coast Wonders (3–4 Days):

  • Cliffs of Moher: Schedule a sunrise or sunset visit to avoid the busiest crowds, with a comfortable transfer from Galway.
  • The Wild Atlantic Way: Tailor a self-drive tour through Connemara’s rugged terrain, including Kylemore Abbey and the serene Twelve Bens mountains.
  • Island Escape: Suggest a day trip to the Aran Islands for immersive Gaeltacht culture and limestone landscapes.

Historic Heartlands (2–3 Days):

  • County Kilkenny: Book a night in a medieval town center B&B, plus a guided castle tour and a stroll along the River Nore.
  • Rock of Cashel & Cahir Castle: Coordinate skip-the-line tickets and a local guide to bring these ancient strongholds to life.
  • Blarney Castle: Facilitate early-morning priority access to bestow the legendary “gift of gab.”

I handle every detail: flights (with optimal connections), rail passes, private transfers, activity reservations, and travel insurance that includes unexpected weather contingencies. Pre-trip briefs ensure clients know what to pack—layers, waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes—and how to navigate Ireland’s left-side driving if they choose to self-drive.

 Insider Tips

  • Festivals & Events: Align itineraries with Gaelic football matches, music festivals, or agricultural shows for an immersive local vibe.
  • Culinary Experiences: Book a farm-to-table cooking class in County Clare or a whiskey-distillery tour in County Antrim.
  • Off-the-Beaten-Path: Recommend the Sligo coastline where W.B. Yeats found inspiration or the hidden beaches of County Mayo.

From the cobblestone streets of Dublin to the windswept cliffs of the west, Ireland captivates with every step. As your trusted travel agent, I’ll weave your clients’ dreams into a seamless, richly textured itinerary—balancing iconic must-sees with authentic local encounters. Ready to send your clients on an Irish adventure they’ll treasure forever? Let’s start planning their Emerald Isle odyssey today.

Best Company Trip I’ve Ever Been On
Reviewed By Ana C - Reno, NV | Traveled to Las Vegas | Nevada | USA
From the moment we landed in Vegas, everything felt effortless. Flights, transfers, and hotel check-in were smooth, and it was clear this trip was extremely well planned. The private dinner at Bourbon Steak was next-level — incredible food, amazing service, and such a special atmosphere for our team. Renting out Swingers Mini Golf for the after-party was such a fun and unexpected touch. Huge credit to Matt for creating an experience that felt both luxurious and genuinely fun. He gave plenty of communication about which flight I was placed on along with a detailed itinerary.

Amazing Holiday Incentive Trip

We cannot say enough great things about Matt and the experience he created for our annual holiday incentive trip in Las Vegas. Planning travel and events for 80 people is no small task, but Matt handled every detail with professionalism, creativity, and total confidence from start to finish. He coordinated all flights, hotel accommodations, and airport transfers seamlessly, making the entire process effortless for our team. The highlights of the trip were absolutely exceptional — a private dinner at Bourbon Steak that felt truly elevated and special, followed by an unforgettable after-party where Matt arranged for us to rent out Swingers Mini Golf. It was the perfect balance of upscale and fun, and our attendees are still talking about it. Matt was proactive, responsive, and always one step ahead, which gave us complete peace of mind throughout the planning process and during the trip itself. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver a flawless, high-impact corporate experience while making it enjoyable and stress-free, Matt is the person you want. Awesome taste of Italy
Reviewed By BV - Pheonix, AZ | Traveled to Italy | Europe
We can’t thank Matt enough for helping make our post-cruise trip to Italy so special. There were six of us traveling together, and he coordinated everything flawlessly—from our car service after the cruise, to train tickets, hotels, and unique experiences like a Vespa tour and a golf cart tour through Rome. The hotels in Rome and Tuscany were beautiful, and every part of the trip ran smoothly thanks to his planning. I have used Matt before and recommend him to my group of friends. We’ll absolutely be using Matt again for future friend trips and recommend him wholeheartedly!
