We have the ultimate road trip Across America planned in a year and a half, but I'm faced with some major questions. As a home schooling single mom, can I survive living in tight quarters with my 3 kids and physically solo driving all across America? We grew up roadtripping it! It would be my mom, my four siblings, and myself all packed into a Durango with limited luggage and, at times, a couple of animals. As kids we were used to sleeping on top of each other, and making it work! But over the past few years, our family became spoiled with air travel. We got so used to driving to the airport, jumping on the plane and voila … we are here. So I needed to complete the ultimate test: a road trip to Disneyland and back with stops in between at the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. This is the first road trip I have taken as a single driver. Nerve-racking? That is an understatement!

So we packed our bags, jumped into our Ascent and hit the road…

24 hours later we were watching the sunset at the Grand Canyon. We spent the evening in the park and toured the Grand Canyon the next day, and then enjoyed one final sunset before dinner. Absolutely stunning!

The next morning, we stopped and toured the Hoover Dam and grabbed lunch before making our way into Vegas. We have family in Vegas, so we stayed at our favorite low key hotel, Downtown Grand Hotel, and visited for several days.

Then we made our way to our final destination: Disneyland!

This is my girls and I first trip to Disneyland so there were so much to do:

• Meet Mickey
• Ride all the rides
• EAT!
• Watch all the shows
• Rides some more rides..
• EAT some more!
• Meet some characters…
• And Repeat!
