The hotel was in an exceptionally good location and our private guides were terrific. We had 1 issue with 1 of our hotel room reservations and after emailing Melissa at 5:30EST on a Saturday morning from Paris, she jumped on the matter and secured another room within a 6 minute walk of the original hotel preventing what could have been a miserable experience. Melissa had booked a trip to Italy for four of us in October 2024. Unfortunately one of the travelers suffered a very serious eye injury the day before departure. We notified Melissa once we were told the injured traveler would not be able to travel. She told us not to worry about anything as she would take care of filling out all the necessary paperwork needed to submit an insurance claim. Within a short period of time, we were reimbursed for our entire trip. In November, Melissa was able to rebook our trip and it was amazing. She is vey knowledgeable regarding hotel locations, which tours to take and arranging private tours while working within your budget. We had departure issues on our trip home but Melissa was monitoring that situation to make sure we were rebooked . She was also instrumental in making sure we were compensated for our return airfare by the airline for the two day delay. I would not hesitate to use Melissa in the future.

Because it was such a beautiful day, we decided not to tour the Doges Palace, but instead go to the observation deck atop the St. Mark Basilica bell tower. We saw some wonderful sights and had a delicious lunch. The bus ride from Sangiemello to Pisa was beautiful. All in all, we had a fantastic trip. On a recent cruise from Athens to Rome, we spent several days prior in Athens and several days after in Rome. Melissa handled arrangements for both of those locations, finding us excellent accommodations as well as excellent tours in those cities.
