Costa Rica is a great destination for the Adventurers! Whether you are looking for adventure, or a romantic beach getaway or a family wanting to fill their vacation with activity, Costa Rica is for you! It has 28 national parks, 8 biological reserves and 130 protected areas. From rain and cloud forests to active volcanoes to mountains to the beaches.... Costa Rica has it all! I recently spent a week in Costa Rica, experiencing different areas of this unique destination. I visited the hot mineral springs, ziplined, visited the volcano in Arenal, the rainforest and toured many of the hotels in several different areas. On the jungle river cruise in Paleverde National Park I saw crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and hundreds of different varieties of birds. The Vida Adventura Nature Park was fascinating as we participated in a canopy tour, rode horses, mud bath and hot springs. I also visited the towns of Coco Beach and Tamarindo Beach. If you are interested in doing something different and unique, I would suggest Costa Rica. It's a destination of go and do!
