Ms. Ann has been booking my family’s trips for at least ten years. i couldn’t imagine booking with someone else. She knows what we like and takes care of the little things in advance like shore excursions. All we need to do is show up. She even arranges the car service to get us to the airport. River cruise

Our Danube cruise was cancelled this April due to the Covid 19 virus but Ann got us Ann our money back. As soon as there is a vaccine we will book again. She has been a good agent in the past.

Ann knows everything hen it comes to Italy, especially Sicily. I wanted to try to retrace my family roots and read about her on a dual citizenship board. She was just amazing! Not only dis she customize a comprehensive three week itinerary for my husband and I of the island but she set me up with a translator and local guide to take me to the village that my great grandfather was from. I was overwhelmed with emotion visiting the village, something I never thought I would ever be able to do since my own parents have passed. I can’t recommend her enough. She has a great deal of knowledge but also passion when it comes to Italy. I plan on planning with her my return in a few years.

Invaluable in planning our river cruise

Ann was invaluable in planning our Avalon River Cruise.
We were not sure where to begin, which line to go with or what river.
She has sailed so many times she was able to show us videos and photos from her own trips which put our minds at ease.
After talking with her we were able to narrow down what was really important and picked the Danube.
At first we were a little nervous about the cost but it was well worth it! The cabin was beautiful, the food and staff fantastic.
We loved it so much that we booked another right away which sadly we now have to put off to 2021 because of the covid virus.
Ann was very helpful in rebooking our trip and getting our insurance policy extended.
I can’t imagine working with anyone else!

Last July we returned from the second trip we booked with Ann. The first was 2 years ago, to Italy, and this time we went to Great Britain. At that time, we had never travelled beyond North America before, so I had a billion questions, and would not have known where to start without Ann’s help. She spent a lot of time on the phone and in emails with me, and helped me choose the perfect trips for our family. She was there every step of the way - arranging our flights, adding an extra day to a tour, arranging for private transportation in Rome, and changing seats for our return trip when I asked while on the trip! Ann is smart, funny, helpful, and returns emails ASAP. She has literally travelled the world and has personal experience in almost any place a traveler would go. Throwback to old fashion customer service

I met Ann after an inquiry for cruise information and it was one of the luckiest days ever! Ann is a true throwback to how customer service should be, but rarely is. She has booked two trips for me and my family/friends, including a trip to Antarctica (which I know was completely beyond her normal travel comfort zone.) More importantly, she has gone to bat for me when airlines arbitrarily changed my flights, when bombs took out the Belgium airport that I would be traveling through, and when prices of cruises were in question. Anyone can book a trip for you, but Ann is a true advocate on your behalf. She is awesome!

Perfect River Cruise Planning

Ann, I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how wonderfully smooth the "Christmas in the Heart of Germany" river cruise that you organized for us went... Although we scheduled our own airfare in order to visit Family in the UK, once we arrived at the meeting place (Movenpick Hotel, Frankfurt), we became a member of the Avalon family. Everything from then on was so smooth, it amazed us that all 119 passengers were helped and guided to the boat, our luggage was positioned in our Stateroom, we had no worries or concerns except to enjoy the cruise. Turns dreams into reality

I want you to know by using Ann you will have a vacation of a life time. Her knowledge, connections, and perseverance, along with Ann's genuine sincerity for the customer, takes all the worries from traveling. She listens to the desires and expectations and makes dreams into reality.
Last March, my parents wanted a European adventure: Mom wanted the Rhine and Dad wanted Germany. Avalon was the answer for everyone involved. Tragedy struck and Mom was unable to go but Ann worked tirelessly for a refund. Dad had mobility restrictions but was able to participate fully. We made so many amazing memories, experienced so many wonderful side trips, and met some great people.

Ann was able to get airfare and find adjoining rooms in a beautiful hotel for us in Cabo Ssn Lucas, Mexico. After a few days at the hotel a neighboring guest came in and started smoking. Always awesome

My family has been working with Ann for years. The difference in our locations has never been a problem nor issue. Ann has booked us on many cruises. Even when I’ve researched the cruise and told Ann what we wanted she came back with a better cabin and location but also at $1000 lower. On our last cruise this past New Years Ann came back with a cabin with a larger balcony PLUS a lot of perks; WIFI, 2 Specialty Dinners, and Deluxe balcony breakfast plus others. Ann also booked on a 3 week trip of a life time to Australia. She made suggestions that I didn’t even know possible. She also booked us on a 10 day tour of Italy plus a 10 day extension. Customer service is priority

She has rebooked my flights to Venice for my October cruise four times now because the airlines kept cancelling legs and she felt the transfer window would be too short. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary cruising down the Danube the beginning of October.
While checking the internet I somehow became connected with Ann. I told her what type of cruise we wanted and Ann went beyond my expectations to find a cruise that would include the countries we wanted to visit.
I had a dollar limit and Ann met that. She always called it emailed me on different options until we found the perfect cruise.

Our first trip to Europe!

My wife and I have been working with Ann for our 10th year this year. She has booked us everything from large cruise ships in the Caribbean, to land motorcoach tours and this year she has booked us a river cruise down the Danube for our 10th wedding anniversary. All I have to do is tell her where we are thinking of going on vacation(holiday) and she does the rest. She never stops working to get us the best deals and the most bang for our buck. Even after we book a trip, she is constantly looking for better flights, nicer rooms and even excursions that we may want to take. I have total trust in Ann as our agent, knowing we will have the best experience we could have ever asked for. Ann is always just an email or call away. I have never felt neglected or as if my littlest of questions is an inconvenience to her. She makes us feel as if we are her only clients, when she is dealing with hundreds of emails and calls from her many customers.

My mom had contacted Ann to help us plan a family trip to Italy. I was studying abroad and would meet up with the others there. She was nothing but amazing! We have never traveled to Europe, and she made traveling a breeze. When my Flight from Spain got cancelled the night before departure because of the airline, Ann immediately jumped in found a new flight for me. I could not have done it without her help! She was not even the one that booked that original fIight but took care of my crisis without hesitation. This all happened in the evening Spain time so it had to be after midnight for Ann when she was helping me. All along she was cheerful telling me that I wasn’t bothering her, that is why I have her. Besides all the help with the ticket, she did so many extras for us. No one knows Italy like Ann, she made us custom walking maps and even contacted the Pope on our behalf! She has his fax number - how cool is that?! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ann for ALL of your traveling needs!

I have completed a fabulous trip arranged for me, my sister, and a friend, by Ann - “The British Isles in Depth”. It was an expansive trip through the British Isles and The Republic of Ireland. I would highly recommend this trip, especially when you have the opportunity to attend The Edinburgh Tattoo, as I did. Something I will never forget. Given the Queen was in residence in her summer home in Scotland, we had a rare opportunity to tour part of Buckingham Palace. What a treat that was.

50th Anniversary River Cruise

I don’t know what we would have done without Ann’s help.
First she planned the perfect cruise for our first time at sea experience. She had so much patience and so many tips. The thing that was really over the top excellent though was when we realized we arrived in Florida that one of our suitcases was still on the car park shuttle back in LAX. It was the weekend but I called her and she immediately took charge and had it Fed Ex’d to our hotel overnight. I was a complete wreck and she said to just leave it with her and she would take care of it , for me to go relax and have fun. The bag arrived at our hotel via courier the next morning and we went off on an amazing trip.

Ann is the best! I found Ann on line as I was exploring European vacations for my husband and myself for the summer of 2019. She set us up with everything at a great price! We went to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. Everything was perfect. So, this year, we had books to go on a tour of Italy with my family. Deposit was paid, but Covid 19 caused us to either credit for a later trip or cancel. Ann was so helpful through it all with advice and explaining all of our options. Caribbean cruise aboard the MSC seaside

Working with Ann is like working with an old friend. She has such a warm and bubbly personality you instantly connect. About three years after my first trip
I called to ask about another. I started the conversation with “This is Carley, I am not sure if you remember me .” Before I went on she said, “of course I do, you and your husband went to Greece for your 25th anniversary, did your daughter have a boy or a girl?” After talking about my granddaughter we planned a wonderful river cruise and now 3 years later we are looking at a safari. Great river cruise on the Danube

When my husband and I were thinking of taking our first river cruise I started researching on line myself. I couldn’t begin to even decide on which river let alone cruise line. Ann organized a trip to Northern Italy for my wife and I. It was a great trip and hassle free. She walked us through every step of the way, offered us tips and advise concerning our travels. You get the most for your money and waste none! The special benefit of working with Ann is that she is always there for you. When some touring companies and agents’ hours are closed for the day, Ann answered my texts and calls at every moment. You can’t put a price tag on that concern she shows for her clients! When the airlines canceled our return flight, due to mechanical problems, at the time of boarding, Ann quickly guided us through that stressful moment and secure the next flight home. She also started the paperwork to the airlines to get financial reimbursement for all our additional expenses and monetary award the airlines offer for cancellations. The best!

Ann has been incredible to work with on several trips and cruises we've taken. Very easy to work with, does all of the "heavy lifting" for you, answers every question clearly and makes things understandable.
With the recent virus situation crushing the travel industry, we have canceled two large trips ourselves to Normandy with National Geographic and to Africa. Ann has been with us every step of the way and has been completely honest and forthright about what we need to do and what she can do for us.
If we were just going around the block I would have Ann set up THAT trip as well.

The hotel we were booked into before the cruise refused to return our deposit. Ann fought for our deposit and got it....our credit card company couldn’t!!! Any travel we do will be done thru her! This covid virus has been very stressful and Ann has been invaluable in helping our family on this time. We had a very expensive river cruise booked and first class air when the crisis hit. The airline only wanted to give us a credit for 10k air and I was besides myself over it. Ann took them on and got my refund. Same with the cruise. We feel bad she didn’t earn a commission but once this is over will book with her again. She is the best. She will fight for you!

A lifesaver, a true treasure

Ann was a total lifesaver, without her help I don’t know what we would have done! We enjoyed a wonderful river cruise vacation with no hiccups and were planning on spending the day in Zurich before our late afternoon flight back to the states. When we arrived at the airport to check our luggage and hop the train downtown I realized that I left our passports in the safe of our cabin over an hour away. i didn’t know what to do and called Ann. She immediately took action even though it was the predawn back home. She called the ship and had them put the passports in a cab. The driver met us at the Raddisson Blu about two hours later. It was a $400 mistake but thank God we had Ann and her quick thinking! I don’t know how we would have been able to go home without them. She is just such a treasure, was only concerned about us, not annoyed that I was calling at 4am.

Help in the time of Coronavirus

A marriage saver

Perfect 40th anniversary

Ann has so much personal experience, she has been everywhere! Anytime we have her book a trip she tells us “oh hey I have a guy there” She meets all these local people on her own travels and has them help with special private tours or transfers. When I say everywhere I mean it she arranged a cooking class in someone’s home in Havana Cuba, private wine tasting in a vineyard in Sicily and a pre dawn visit to the Taj Mahal so we could see the sunrise. She is amazing!

Ann Moris is our travel agent. Over the past 3 years, she has booked 5 international trips for us and every one has been what we wanted or better. The latest trip was a great bucket list river cruise to Christmas Markets in Europe. We visited Hungary, Austria, Germany and Prague and had a great balance between guided tours, etc., and free time for us to roam and find niche markets with different crafts, food offerings...especially sausages, ham and sturdels! The cherry strudel in one Prague market was nearly 1" thick, mostly chopped cherries and absolutely delicious. Ann already has us booked to two more bucket trips for 2020, England for gardens and the Chelsea Flower show and round-trip Alaska inside cruise in July. In each case she had already arranged the special assistance we need for my disabled wife when I checked to make sure she will encounter no problems on either tour. So, I guess my bottom line is that Ann is a jewel who knows your wants and needs from the start.

Third try for a honeymoon

Ann has been just great to work with. This past year has been a real roller coaster trying to plan a wedding and a honeymoon which we have had to postpone twice now because of the Corona Virus -19. Ethics isn’t something you hear a lot about lately but that is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Ann. We had a very expensive 2 week river cruise booked which was cancelled. The cruise line was offering a 125% future cruise credit if we rolled our money forward. My husband was recently furloughed so getting the money back now vs more later was better for us. Ann agreed and got on it immediately. Our friends booked with another agent and felt very pressured to take the credit I thought maybe her agent wanted to make sure she would rebook but I read on cruise critic it was because if an agent got people to take the credit they could keep their commission if they didn’t it was taken away. Seems unfair to Ann, but so impressed me, she fell on the sword knowing she was losing thousands of dollars as it was the best thing for us. When this is over we will rebook and it will certainly be with Ann. Integrity is such a rare asset these days!

Italy honeymoon Sardinia and mainland

Miss Ann was wonderful to work with planning our honeymoon! My fiancé is of Italian decent and had never been to Europe so he really wanted to go to Italy. I wanted something beachy and tropical and thought an Italy trip would be all museums and churches. She set us up in the most beautiful spot in Sardinia where the water was bluer than the Caribbean! After a week there we did two nights each Rome Florence and Venice to get the full Italy experience. It was the best of both worlds. We never would have thought of this plan on our own.

My 50th birthday trip

I met her by chance when researching a trip to Hawaii. She was so much help at that time with suggestions to make our trip more memorable, and to save money. Now, I can't even imagine planning without her.
I would say her vast knowledge and fun personality make vacation planning so fun. And her caring for her clients, makes her just who you want watching your back, should something go wrong. As it did for us once, when my daughter broke her leg before we were suppose to board a plane to Europe. Her stepping in to help with cancelling reservations, tours, getting refunds and helping with insurance claims are just beyond amazing. And before you say "any agent can do that". Maybe they can, but she added a personal touch of a gift to my sad daughter, to lift her spirts. You just can't put a price on that kind of extra step.

More than just a great travel agent a kind soul

- [ ] There is something special about Ann, from the first moment I spoke to her I felt like she was an old friend. I have never met her in person, we live on opposite sides of the country but it is as if she is right next door. She knows just what my husband and I like and sends us promotions she thinks we may like but without any pressure. I called her about one and during our conversation the wildfires came up in our area. I told Ann how bad the smoke was and how with the virus it was almost impossible to get extra masks. Two days later a package arrived from Amazon with masks that had special filter inserts for us. The note said “hope this helps clear the air until you can be smelling the lavender fields in Provence”. That is the kind of person she is, more than just a great agent, she is a kind soul.

A very caring person

I want you to know that Ann is much more than just a travel agent. She is a very caring person. Two years ago I approached her about a trip to Italy. It was my mother’s wish to visit the country her parents were from. Mom had been recently diagnosed with cancer and it was a “bucket list” trip. Ann not only found us a tour we could afford but she got us insurance that would cover mom. She also arranged some special private tours with friends of hers in some of the towns we stopped in.
After the trip she continued to check in on mom every few months to see how she was doing. Last month mom passed, due to Covid we couldn’t have a celebration of her life. When I told Ann she was genuinely sad. A few days later a big box arrived from Omaha Steaks. She said it was Italian tradition to bring food and she couldn’t come herself so this was the next best thing. That is the type of person she is.

A helpful and competent agent

You couldn’t ask for a more helpful or competent agent. We just returned from Europe and our flights were suddenly cancelled without an explanation from the airline. I didn’t know what to do. The airline itself would not help me because I booked the flights from an online discount company- they were no help. She came up with a replacement schedule that had to be honored and had me call back with the flight numbers and suddenly they could make it work. We got home a few hours later than originally scheduled but it didn’t cost extra. This was not her problem but she fixed it for me for free. I will always book with her.

Ann knows Italy like no one else

Ms Ann planned our dream trip to Italy. I don’t think there is a town in that country she has not been to as even though we were on a tour she told us secret special spots in each city for our free time. This was a 18 day tour including Sicily so there were a lot of stops! She even made us some maps to get to her favorite little shops and restaurants and when we told the owners she said hello the all smiled so broadly. We even got free dessert one night lol. Having someone who has intimate knowledge really makes a big difference in the quality of your experience. Anyone can book a tour but only an expert can tell you where the best gelato is! We will certainly book with her again!

Did everything she could for us

Ann worked tirelessly to try to get us a refund from a supplier who cancelled our trip due to the virus. When they still refused saying their policy was only to give future credits she was willing to do a statement for Amex on our behalf when we disputed the charges. I know we might have put her in a difficult position but it was a great deal of money and with the way they acted we never wanted to take a tour with them again. It wasn’t our fault it was cancelled. Ann didn’t hesitate when we asked for the letter, we got it the next day. As soon as this virus is done we will certainly book with her again. We WON’T be giving that tour company a penny again let alone $28,000!

I am so impressed by Ann and all she did for us before the trip and then when we had to cancel for health reasons. She got us a cabin upgrade on the river cruise we had booked and was super knowledgeable about all the aspects, as she had done the same trip the year before.

One-woman wonder show!

We were fortunate to meet Ann on an Avalon river cruise on the Danube. For the rest of the trip she made great suggestions on which excursions to take, additional travel tips and of course a free round or two of beverages.
When we returned we made reservations through Ann for an Alaska cruise with our granddaughter and niece. When COVID hit and the cruise got cancelled, Ann advised us to hold tight before requesting a refund. She ended up getting us a 125% credit which moved us up to an aft cabin and the girls to a balcony just down the hall.
When the cruise was cancelled for a second time Norwegian gave a us all cruise credits. Ann did some further research and found the four of us could take a Mediterranean cruise, with air, for about the same price. Needless to say, the girls were thrilled. We are looking forward to working with Ann in the future due to her honesty and diligence.(and another round of beverages next time we trael with her and her husband.)

A Godsend

Ann has been so kind and supportive, going above what you would expect from a travel advisor. My husband and I were scheduled to do a river cruise in June along with my sister. Covid claimed my sister’s life and the thought of going on holiday so soon was impossible to me. All our deposits were non refundable and we foolishly did not have insurance. She was able to talk the cruiseline into putting my sister’s unused deposit on my account and to move us until 2022. Ann was just a Godsend so calming and took over the burden of what to do, handing me back something to look forward to as I work through my grief. I can’t recommend her enough.

This year has been just awful but thanks to Ann we finally are got our dream trip. Three times our cruise was cancelled due to Covid. I was starting to feel cursed. My husband and I were getting depressed and suffering from cabin fever from the year long lock down. Ann suggested we try St.Lucia, called it a “land cruise”lol. Everything was perfect and we feel renewed. Thanks for looking in a different direction when the cruise wasn’t working. We so appreciate you!

Makes dreams come true

nn has been just wonderful as we plan our wedding. It has been quite the challenge figuring out when it is safe as this virus is not going away as soon as we thought. We wanted to do a big destination wedding but some guests are elderly and now is not the time for them to travel. My fiancé and I don’t want to wait forever to get married so she suggested a compromise. We are going to have a small private ceremony at home with a JP so we are “official” and then in 2022 have a big symbolic ceremony on a Greece cruise that everyone can attend. She thinks outside of the box and really does make dreams come true!

Patient and flexible

Working with Ann has been great over the years. I never realized exactly how patient and flexible she was though until the Covid 19 virus hit. We were supposed to go on a Tulip river cruise in April, that was derailed when cruises were put on hold. We still wanted to go on a trip and had her rebook us for June on a different itinerary figuring by then it would all be cleared up. Our June cruise was cancelled and we said third time has to be a charm and booked for September. I bet you can guess what happened? So we now are booked again on a Tulip cruise one year after we originally were going to depart. All through these changes Ann was lighthearted even though I knew it had to be a lot of extra work for her. She kept track of all of our credits owed etc. which honestly would have been too much of a headache for me. I can’t recommend her enough.

Responsive and capable travel agent

Ann is very responsive and ensures we get the exact trip that we want every time. When issues have arisen, she was quick to find solutions that worked for us.
In 2017, Ann arranged a private safari in Kenya and Tanzania through Monograms for us and another couple. The trip was everything we expected and more! Ann ensured that all the arrangements were made down to the smallest detail.
In March 2020, when we decided to go to Egypt we called Ann specifically to make the arrangements for us. This time, she booked our trip through Globus Journeys. Prior to our departure, COVID-19 caused mass disruption to flights and tours. Ann was quick to help us cancel our trip, and complete the follow-up tasks required to enable us to rebook the trip at a later time. When we rebook, Ann is the first one we will call to make our arrangements.

Ann is fantastic! From the very beginning, she took care of everything... and even things I didn't know needed taken care of. We took a globus tour and Ann made sure we got the best deals on airfare, airport transfers and even gave us advice on some of the optional tours. Ann goes over and beyond. She helped us plan our pretrip excursions and gave us maps and directions for suggestions and places we could visit on our free days during the tour. A lifesaver we could have been homeless

I am writing this from Rome where we would have been homeless but for Ann. We booked a Med cruise though her but scheduled an Airbnb afterwards on our own as she said she doesn’t deal with them. Well this morning we get off the ship and get a text that they are regretful but our reservation has been cancelled as they can’t accommodate us and we will get a refund. I was hysterical as we had 4 nights and no where to stay and called her at what must have been around 3am back home. Ann said to not worry and she would figure it out. She got us a hotel and we are now happy in Rome

Great planner and respects budget

We had never left the country and were completely lost when trying to figure out where in Europe to go for our first big trip. Ann was great talking with us about different countries and the logistics of what we could see in the amount of time we had. In the end we picked a tour that took us from London to Rome which gave us a taste of many places. It was a perfect intro. Next time we will spend more time just exploring Italy as that was our favorite but I was thrilled to see the Eiffel Tower and changing of the guard in London as well! She respected our budget without skimping on quality. We can’t wait to start planning the next one!

Focused on what was best for us

I can’t imagine there is agent out there that spends as much time as Ann does in trying to get things perfect for clients. None that I have ever worked with in the past were ever like her. I would come in and say I am thinking of doing a trip to “X” and old company would just go ahead book what I said take my money end of story. With Ann she started asking me questions and the more we talked it seemed the trip I originally wanted I realized it was not for me once the details were broken down. l ended up in a totally different direction and it was a fantastic experience. Ann really tries to look out for people, spend your money wisely regardless if you have 4k or 40k to spend on the trip she was very focused on what experiences were most important to us.

First river cruise

We knew nothing about river cruising, which line would be the best, or even what river to sail.
Ann was wonderful sharing her personal videos of the different rivers and various cruise lines. She gave us honest pros and cons of each line in helping us make our decision instead of just giving us a price quote. Every recommendation she made was spot on and this was a fantastic experience!

A miracle worker

I couldn’t do her job, and certainly not with the patience and humor that Ann has. She is like the energizer bunny going and never giving up. Our honeymoon was in jeopardy as the cruise we had booked was cancelled at the last minute. In a weeks time Ann put together a package using ferries and flights to still get us to the Greek islands. I was a total wreck and she told me to just leave it with her and she would figure it out and she did! We love you Ann thanks so much for the best honeymoon ever.

A guardian angel

I want you to know that with working with Ann you not only have an extremely knowledgeable person when it comes to travel (she has been everywhere!) but a guardian angel. We were due to go on a Christmas markets cruise this week when Covid started kicking up again. Even though she was in Egypt at the time she was in constant contact with myself and the cruiseline. She would FaceTime me at what had to be very late at night in her time zone as I didn’t get home until 6pm. It didn’t matter that her husband was asleep (lol I saw him) she was only concerned about calming my anxiety. The cruise did get cancelled and Ann found me an even better trip to replace it next fall. Although we are sad to be home this week instead of in Germany we are excited to head to Paris in September. Ann is much more that a travel agent she is a guardian angel watching over her clients.

We were nervous about going forward with our over cruise not sure if it would be safe or even fun sill with Covid still kicking up. Ann was just fantastic. She went over our options including cancelling, postponing or soldiering on. She talked honestly about her own travels to Europe this summer and the challenges and rewards. Never nudging us in any direction but letting us decide. We were so glad to have her guiding us through the ever changing entry rules. It turned out to be the best trip we have had and only 42 of us on the boat!

Graduation trip

Over and above help with family tree

I had no idea that when I called a travel agent I would be getting help with my family tree! I received a glowing referral from a coworker about Ann who had planned her trip to Italy so I gave her a call. She asked where I wanted to go and then asked why. I thought told her that my grandparents were Italian, I never met them and I felt a desire to at least visit the country they were from. She suggested that we do some digging on a free website called Familysearch. She got me started and after a week or so I knew the town my grandparents were from and other information. We were both so excited. Ann had a tour that traveled near the town. She said she could get me a driver for the day if I wanted to visit. That was the highlight of the entire trip. Such a special experience one I never would have had but for Ann. She really went over and above for us.

Let me tell you about working with Ann, she is not a M-F 9-5 kind of gal. She has met with us on the weekend, answered my texts at night, and took my call at 3am when my flight back from Milan was cancelled. She is devoted to her clients and is helpful even when it doesn’t financially benefit her. This week I had the opportunity to present a project to my clients in Milan but they were not interested in zoom. I called Ann asking if there was any way around the ban for US citizens and she explained what I needed to do to qualify as essential business. I had airline miles and hotel points so there was nothing for her to book, she said she was happy to help and charged me nothing for her advice. As soon as we are free to travel as tourists you can be sure who I will be calling!

My heart just breaks for her as I know this virus has to have been devastating to her business, but she never complains and is always cheerful when we talk. More than an agent she is like an old friend

Miss Ann has been our family’s travel agent for at least ten years now. She has been just about everywhere in the world so anytime I have an inkling of visiting an area I give her a call and right off the top of her head she can tell me all about it. She is more than a great travel agent though, she is more like a friend. Even though I have never met her in person I feel like I have known her forever. She really cares about us. When there was a hurricane she checked on us right away and even just this past week she sent a cute card saying she was thinking about us with the pandemic. I can’t wait until we can get traveling again. Once we can Miss Ann will be the first call I will make!

calming in midst of chaos

Ann not only did a fantastic job planning our Galapagos and Machu Picchu adventure but she was right on top of things when the country was suddenly going to be locked down due to the Covid -19 virus. She called us in Peru apprising us of the impending crisis letting us know that we would be ok. I was so impressed with Avalon Waterway’s who chartered an airplane to get all their people out of the country. When I got home I saw on the news that hundreds of Americans were trapped in Peru as they couldn’t get out before the border was closed. I was so thankful we had Ann to calm us in the chaos.

An awesome bucket list trip

Ann planned an awesome bucket list trip for my husband and I to go on safaris in South Africa. From the beginning, she was involved in finding out what we specifically wanted to do and then she arranged the perfect tour. She chose excellent tour operators, with fantastic lodges and food. The whole trip went very smoothly and was well planned. Ann even went above and beyond, when I left my passport in the transfer taxi from the airport to the hotel. She spent a long time contacting various people and finally located my passport and facilitated it being brought to me. It gave me great comfort knowing Ann was there to assist in whatever I needed. Family Cruise

Ann always goes above and beyond to make sure we are well informed when booking trips. Last year on our family cruise my husband became ill and needed to be hospitalized on the ship overnight. I reached out to Ann for help (while at sea) and she navigated me through the process during a very stressful situation. We were so thankful that her educating us on the importance of travel insurance payed off. We were unable to fly home with our family (JFK) and had to divert to Tampa for an Emergency Department evaluation. Ann booked our new flight and secured a rental car for us. We were handed an $8565 bill from the cruise ship upon debarkation and our travel insurance covered the entire bill. Needless to say Ann is the ONLY travel agent we will work with!!!

Trip of a Life Time

We were both excited and scared when our son shared that he was going to get married in Tuscany, Italy as we had never been to Italy before and have little travel experience. We connected with Ann and starting planning with her a year in advance. It was the most amazing 2 week vacation ever! And thanks to Ann, we executed it like seasoned travelers. While there are many elements that go into planning a vacation we feel her expertise and knowledge were key in the success of our son’s destination wedding/vacation. Sicilian Dream Vacation

We have not utilized a travel agent in many years but with an upcoming trip to Sicily I wanted the help of someone that knew the island and could help us find the perfect hotels and activities as we were traveling with our 2 adult daughters. What a blessing it was to find Ann. She does way more than any travel agent you will find. She has extensive knowledge of so many counties and goes way beyond helping you with travel advise and input on all aspects of your travel needs including foreign money matters, tipping customs in country, travel logistics, local excursions (advise and booking them for us), medical in country if needed, food (which was big for us as both daughters have several food allergies and she wrote out all the allergies in Italian for us to show the waiters and chefs in Sicily). I will not hesitate to utilize her again in the future. Also her follow up on questions was second to none. If you are in need of a GREAT agent then connect with Ann.

Created best of both worlds

We were having the hardest time deciding what to do for our 30th anniversary trip. A friend told us to call Ann which was the best decision we ever made! I really wanted to try a river cruise but my husband wanted to go to Italy. Ann came up with the perfect plan, the Rhine River , Amsterdam to Basel with the 3 day Lake Como extension. She then had us spend 2 nights in Milan and two nights in Venice. My husband got 7 nights in Italy and I got a 7 night river cruise. We would never have thought of this approach on our own. We had a great time, she planned everything perfect. Next up the Douro with some time after in Spain!

Three vacations in one!

The Queen of Italy

I don’t think there is anything she doesn’t know about Italy. Ann’s passion for her homeland is infectious. She is funny, and down to earth and created an unforgettable trip for us taking us to places we had not even thought of. She never rushed us while planning, instead asked a lot of questions trying to determine where the best places to spend our budget were. She never tried to get us to spend more than we said we could and in the end the total was about $150 less than we had approved! You can’t go wrong by working with Ann she is the Queen of all things having to do with Italy!

Rhine instead of Alaska

We came to Ann to plan our 35th anniversary trip and asked for an Alaskan cruise land/sea package. Ann came back with 3 nice proposals, but in the meantime we had been thinking that it was a special trip and maybe we would rather go to Europe and asked about doing a river cruise instead. Without missing a beat she switched gears and asked us questions to figure out which river would be best for us. Our actual anniversary is April 27th and she said that would tie in with the tulips in Holland and sent us some videos she had made. We added in Lucerne and Mt Pilates so we still get to see a glacier without visiting Alaska. All along the way she has been super helpful and friendly we can’t recommend her enough.

Italy expert and under budget

I have never met someone like Ann before. After talking with her for a few minutes it was like we had been friends for ages. I had never worked with a travel designer before and was a little worried that it was going to end up costing me a lot more but she said if I gave her a budget she would respect it. She gave me several choices allowing me to pick were to spend my money. Amazingly Ann was able to complete my entire wishlist and come in $75 under budget! She was not afraid to tell me why she didn’t think something might not be a good idea. She explained why and it made perfect sense. If you want to work with a true expert look no further than Ann she wants you to love Italy as much as she does.

We were so fortunate to have found Ann. She was a total life saver when the airlines left us stranded. “Lemons to limoncello” she said as we ended up with three extra days in Italy due to a strike. She got us a hotel and things to do and restaurant recommendations. Pretty remarkable for someone I just met at the airport! She walked up to me when I was crying and asked if she could help. Amazing trip to Sorrento Italy

Ann was absolutely amazing. I decided to travel to Sorrento, Italy from Miami FL. Looking online at all options available, I was overwhelmed and felt lost. I didn't want to end up in a place with all the tourists. Instead I wanted to do what the locals do. I found Ann online and she was God's sent. The trip was everything I dreamt of and better. There is not one thing she recommended that I didn't absolutely love. I had issues with the airline and she was there to help every step of the way. I have already recommended Ann to a few friends and I will continue doing so because she is a pro at what she does. 35th anniversary river cruise

First Yacht cruise with Ponant

We found Ann on a google search for Italy experts. I was really impressed with our initial conversation. She was so down to earth and honest telling us where we could save money and where it was important to not skimp. Ann was wonderful to work with. We wanted to go to Italy but didn’t want the standard Rome, Florence Venice trip.
She has been all over Italy and talked with us about what we liked to do and built us a custom trip visiting some of her favorite places including some we had never heard of. She knows tour guides and drivers over there so everything went smoothly. She answered our texts quickly when we were on the trip when we asked about restaurants etc. it was like having our own private concierge. I can’t recommend her enough.

First river cruise trip of a lifetime!

Ann’s quick thinking saved our river cruise !

Thanks to Ann’s quick thinking our vacation was saved!
We were scheduled to sail the Rhine in August when the drought hit.
The cruise line said that they would have to bus us part of the way which is not why I booked a river cruise. We were so upset. Ann did some checking and found a river cruise in Portugal sailing at the same time. She spoke to the cruiseline and got them to protect our rate and move us to the Douro. We were able to modify our flights to go into Porto and out of Lisbon where we spent 3 days enjoying the city. What was looking like a crisis turned into a great vacation.

She really LOVES travel, she gets so excited telling me where she is off to next -fyi she does live travel shows you can watch online on her trips on Facebook events. Thats how I found her. Miss Anne has been everywhere! Each time we talk about a place I am thinking of going she tells me her own story and shows me photos of when she was there. It’s nice to see the real thing not flashy advertising.
She is honest and will tell me if she thinks my plan may be unwise as a solo traveler and comes up with a safe solution for me to still see the places I want, like when I went to Morocco. I never thought I could afford river cruises but she glammed on to waived single supplements on Avalon and now I am able to go. She is the best!

A logistical expert

Ann is a logistical expert and calming in a moment of crisis. Our flight was cancelled at the last minute to Paris and we were devastated.
Ann hired a car service to get us over to Newark from JFK , we flew to London where she had another car waiting to take us to the Chunnel train that she bought tickets online for us. A short cab ride later we made it to the ship only four hours later than our original plan. I never would have been able to come up with a plan like that, especially in a matter of minutes! She planned the perfect trip and then made sure we got there!

A true expert

I don’t think there are too many people quite like Ann in the world. She has such a true love and passion for travel it is infectious. She once told me that her owning a travel agency was the equivalent of letting a drug addict run the pharmacy as she just reinvests her profits in new adventures. All I know is she has such an incredible hands on knowledge and worked so hard (with multiple revisions) to create our dream vacation. Ann was so vested in the perfect out come of our Italian adventure , I really had ever experienced service like this before. A lifesaver

Ann is a life saver! For the first time in 2 years I took my little ones to see my parents for Christmas. When it came time to return Sunday we got out of LA fine but once we arrived in Philly we were told our next flight was cancelled. No replacement lights were available until late Monday and there were no hotel rooms left. I was with two exhausted toddlers pitching fits, all of us in tears. I called Ann, not sure if she could do anything, she didn’t book the trip as it was just flights to my moms. She told me to give her a bit, said to go have a snack, she would call back. 45 minutes later she said our driver will be pulling up in 15 mins. She found a car service to drive us the 4 hours home! She told me that she had looked at every option from the train to a rental car but most were sold out due to the massive cancellations. Just 6 hours after feeling like I was going to have a nervous breakdown we were all safe and snug at home

Ann Castagna Morin is certainly a keeper!
Before these horrible Covid times Ann was great attending to all and everything vis a vis my bookings and those of my friends - efficient and friendly are my first thoughts - but in addition she is just paramount in searching out one's requests and suggesting improvements - and from that putting together a cost effective package which adding up to more than you were thinking you needed in the first place...!
Then in 2019 Covid rears its head and planned trips have to be reworked, postponed, reshuffled, reconstituted, financially restructured etc - Some of the requests I have made of her make me wince, but she always comes through - it is doubtful to me that she has much time to sit down, have lunch and dinner (or even breakfast for that matter) but come through she always does...
All in all she is to me a super agent - and if she is super with clients I can only believe the companies she works with believe she is super also.

Ann is an outstanding travel agent. She assisted us with Princess Cruises and Globus tours. From the first stage of discussing a trip to the very end she always looked out for us. She is detail oriented and keeps you in the loop as to the status of all arrangements. She selected flight options for our consideration and for cruises recommended decks and cabin locations. She arranged our transfers between airports and hotels. Due to her vast travel experience, she made welcome suggestions on places to visit and dine. Our scheduled trip on Princess to the Baltics and Scandinavia was cancelled due to the pandemic. An honest agent can be a lifesaver

- [ ] Working with someone who is honest is can literally save your life. My husband and I have been booking trips with Ann for years. She is an adventurous traveler like us and I can trust that she is not just selling me something to make a profit. She has no problem expressing her opinion if she thinks we may be getting in over our heads. Recently we had decided to go to Tanzania as that was one of the few places that Americans can travel. Ann met with us for over an hour talking us out of Africa. Her concern was not a safari but that there were some questions as to whether Tanzania was being honest about being Covid free. We will go, but later when it’s safe. Not a lot of agents would talk prospects out of a 30k, there is only one Ann!

Amazing Trip

25th anniversary river cruise

Working with Ann was such a great experience! We really had no idea what we wanted to do for our 25th anniversary except that we wanted to go to Europe. She spent a lot of time talking with us, asking questions about what we like, before she even made her first suggestion. I had not even considered a river cruise. I knew I did not want to do an ocean cruise but the more I heard about the small ships the more attractive it got. It was wonderful having our hotel travel with us and all meals included plus tours daily.

Small ship cruise in Greece, perfect in every way

My husband and I really wanted to see the Greek Islands but dreaded the thought of going on a big cruise ship with all the crowds or having to take ferries. We stumbled upon one of Ann’s videos from her Ponant Yacht cruise in Greece and thought that would look perfect for us. First but not last time using a travel agent

We had never used a travel agent before just booked it ourselves online. This trip I was a little nervous doing myself as it was going to be so expensive and I really didn’t have time to research the different river cruise lines. A girl I work with gave me Ann’s name and as soon as I spoke to her my worries went away. She told me about the different experiences on the various rivers and sent me her own photos and videos to help me narrow down which one I wanted. Miss Ann is such an honest person. Not something you find often in the sales industry. My friend recommended her when I mentioned that my bother and I wanted to send my parents on a river cruise for their 50th anniversary saying I would love her and she was right! I contacted her in June asking if we could send them in September and she told me about the water problems going on in the Rhine. She said maybe with the cooler weather and hopefully rain the river would be better but for such a special trip she would recommend waiting until spring 2023. She said that they could also see the tulips which is something we never thought of. The late April trip cost less so she wasn’t trying to make more money, just trying to help our parents get the best trip

From the moment I first spoke to Ann it was like I knew her forever. She is so friendly and enthusiastic I felt like I was talking about my dream trip with a friend not a salesperson. Italy expert and a miracle worker

In times when kindness and customer service seems to have been tossed aside by robotic or apathetic worker meeting someone like Ann is a breath of fresh air. Her expertise in Italy is what drew us to ask her to design our specially anniversary trip, but it was her determination to save the day when the airlines cancelled on us that will make her forever be in my heart. It took two planes, a train and then a taxi, juggling I could never figure out on my own, but she got us to Tuscany to start our trip. Second Honeymoon

Miss Ann was my parents travel agent and when I was planning my first big trip on my own I took their advice to work with her. At first I must admit I was resistant to the idea figuring I could handle everything myself online but she was so fun to talk to and gave me resolution tools for situations I had not even considered.

10th Anniversary Trip

My wife and I have worked with Ann for 10 years, starting with our honeymoon trip. This trip was for our 10th Anniversary in Aruba. One of our best destinations we have been to. If it wasn’t for the monumental efforts of Ann Castagna Morin we never would have had a 10th Anniversary vacation. My wife and I messes up our medical clearance forms for Jamaica and had to cancel that trip less than 2 days before we were supposed to leave. Ann was able to find the Riu Palace book the all inclusive suite, our flights and private round trip transfers from the airport to the resort and back in less than 24 hours! My wife and I were able to get our travel application approval and insurance from Aruba, which is required to get on the plane, all before we had to drive to the airport. She is truly an amazing travel agent, who didn’t stop looking so we could have our anniversary trip. As always we are so grateful for all she did to save what we thought was a lost trip and make it better!

A Once in a Lifetime Trip!

Ann helped us plan a once in a lifetime trip to Europe customized especially for our needs, wishes, hopes and dreams! After talking about going to Italy for 5 years, we finally did it! The catalyst was a conversation about seeing Bruce Springsteen in concert and discovering that he was touring in Italy this summer. On a whim, I bought the tickets to the concert and surprised my husband with them for our 40th wedding anniversary! The next step was to contact Ann, who helped us build a trip around the concert. There is so much to see in Italy that we really didn't know where to begin. Ann asked us some great questions about our interests and came up with wonderful suggestions and advice. Being Italian and very well traveled in Italy, she was a wealth of knowledge and her advice was spot on. Once we looked at flights, we saw that we could fly direct to Frankfurt, and she recommended we visit for a day or two while we were there. It was a great start to our trip! We were able to have an easy day upon arrival and then visit the Heidelburg castle and a Mercedes Benz museum the next day. Next we were off to Italy, where we visited Lake Maggiore, Milan, Taormina and Florence. It was three amazing weeks full of new sights. We loved the culture of Italy and the warmth with which we were welcomed. Truly, a trip we will never forget!

A couple we travel with have booked with Ann for years and always said how great she was. I wanted to be linked with them on the trip and called her. In the past I had always used a big online company thinking it was the best deal. I was really surprised that her price was basically the same but her level of service as 100 times better! She took the time to council me on cabin choices showing me photos. She knows a guy in Rome (she’s Italian ) that can do yours and transfers for us and after I messed up my airfare she rebooked it all correctly for me. I can see why my friends love her. The beach on New Year's

My boyfriend and I were wanting to plan a last minute trip to the beach over New Years. A family member recommended reaching out to Ann for some ideas. First river cruise

I have always planned and booked our own trips but when my husband and I decided to do a river cruise for our anniversary I decided to use a professional as they are so expensive I didn’t want to mess up. My sister had worked with Ann on several trips and encouraged me to call. I am so glad I did. Immediately I felt at ease with Ann, she has sailed on just about every itinerary and showed me her own videos and told me the pluses and minuses of each line. We were all set to put our money down right before Thanksgiving and she advised us to wait a week as the company had Black Friday sales in the past. She was right and saved us another $100! I have worked with Ann for four years now. For each of our trips, Ann goes above and beyond. She is available for any questions and answers them quickly. Ann makes sure every detail is covered. Mu husband and I just got back from Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana. This vacation was three years in the making, due to covid. We had a vacation booked for the same time period and pretty much at the last minute the resort we were going to was not opening in time. Ann found us the most beautiful, all inclusive resort. Always one step ahead of a crisis

Ann is always one step ahead of any crisis.
For two years now we have been trying to go on a river cruise for our 25th anniversary. Due to Covid it kept getting cancelled. I was ready to give up when she found us a replacement cruise that cost less than our other one letting us upgrade to a better view. Even though she was on vacation herself she called me from Italy four days before we were to fly out. She had been watching the changes in testing requirements and told us to make sure we got a quickCovid test to show the airline 48 hours before we were to fly. She even emailed me a list of places she found based on our zip code for us to call and make the appointment. If it hadn’t been for her we wouldn’t have known and would not have been able to fly. We met a couple on the ship who joined a day late. They were delayed because they didn’t have the test!

After several more postponements, Ann worked so hard to book us another trip, and then another last minute cancellation occurred. She found us an entirely new destination at a beautiful resort. We just got back from a wonderful vacation. Her knowledge and expertise are invaluable.
