I love recommending Caribbean beach vacations to my clients. From the calming ocean breeze, the smell and sounds of the soothing waves, the activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, and boating, there is no shortage of fun things to do. I especially love the laid-back feeling you get at the ocean, and how fun it is to explore the islands and take in the culture.

Whenever possible, I enjoy experiencing destinations firsthand so that I can provide the best advice to my clients. I have been many places in the Caribbean, and I have also branched out into river cruising in Europe. I travel about once a month, and I value these opportunities to visit and absorb as many places as I possibly can.

Recently, I helped a family of parents and two teenage daughters with a trip to Jamaica. Their vacation experience started with personalized service from their airplane through customs, to their transfer (Club MoBay). They loved the Club MoBay experience! For their accommodations, I booked them at an all-inclusive resort with two bedrooms so the teenagers would feel like they had their own space. I helped them plan a few activities and provided a coupon book for their shopping experience. I was able to give them tips on activities and food options at the resort since I had stayed there in the past. The family had never been to an all-inclusive resort before, and they loved it!

To better serve my clients, I am always updating my knowledge of destinations and learning tips and tricks to help provide the best vacation possible. I attend many webinars on destinations so that I can gain the knowledge necessary to advise clients, even if I haven’t personally been to that destination. I’m proud to be an IATA member, and to have a great network of trusted travel partners that I work with.

As much as I am here to help your trip go right, I’m also here to help if anything doesn’t go as planned. For example, I recently had a client family of a grandmother, mother, and child on a trip in Alaska. Fishing in Alaska was on the son’s bucket list, so I had them take the train from Anchorage to Seward. I had a fishing excursion planned for them the day after they got there. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating, and they couldn’t go on the fishing trip. Instead, I arranged for another night in the hotel they were staying in the same room and was able to get them on a different fishing excursion for the next day. I also arranged for the train tickets to be changed so they could go back to Anchorage after their fishing trip. They were so appreciative of my flexibility and ability to problem solve, and they loved their Alaskan adventure!

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, including our three children and three dogs, one of which I have been training to become a therapy dog. I also love sharing my travel stories with family and friends!
