Where to go?

I often get the question of where my favorite travel destination is?

This is a very difficult question to answer as each destination for me has beauty and I like experiencing new cultures and scenery. 

Europe offers a diverse range of attractions that appeal to a wide variety of interests and within one continent you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Swiss Alps, the Norwegian fjords, the Scottish Highlands, and the Mediterranean coastline. Along experience the beauty of European countryside, from rolling vineyards in Tuscany to picturesque castles along the Rhine River. In Europe you can benefit from well-developed transportation infrastructure, including high-speed trains and extensive networks of buses and trams, making it easy to explore multiple countries in a single trip.

The Americas, consisting of North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, offer a diverse range of experiences for travelers. Visit the many vast landscapes and natural wonders, such as the Grand Canyon in the United States, Niagara Falls in Canada, the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, and the Iguazu Falls on the Argentina-Brazil border. Visit historical landmarks like Machu Picchu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, and the ancient Mayan ruins in Guatemala. Discover the beauty of national parks, including Banff National Park in Canada, Yellowstone in the United States, and Torres del Paine in Chile. Explore various cruise destinations, from Alaskan cruises to Caribbean cruises, offering a unique perspective on coastal beauty and cultural diversity. Or relax on pristine beaches and tropical islands, such as the Caribbean, Hawaii, the Florida Keys, and the Riviera Maya in Mexico.

Asia is a vast and diverse continent with a rich tapestry of cultures, histories, landscapes, and experiences. Visit iconic historical sites such as the Great Wall of China, the Taj Mahal in India, the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, and the historic temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Experience breathtaking natural landscapes, including the Himalayan mountain range, the beaches of Bali, the lush forests of Borneo, and the picturesque landscapes of Japan. Engage in outdoor adventures such as trekking in the Himalayas, scuba diving in the Philippines, skiing in Japan, and exploring the diverse landscapes of Nepal. Seeing the Great Wall of China will always be one of my most memorable experiences.

A continent I have yet to explore is Africa, a continent of immense beauty, diverse cultures, and unique experiences. On my bucket list are seeing historic cities like Marrakech in Morocco, Cairo in Egypt, Cape Town in South Africa, and Stone Town in Zanzibar, each with its own unique charm and history. Sail dine the Nile. And, explore the incredible biodiversity of Africa through safaris in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and Botswana, witnessing iconic animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos in their natural habitats.

Also on my bucket list, especially after client feedback is Australia and New Zealand, located in the Southern Hemisphere, known for their stunning landscapes, unique wildlife, vibrant cities, and outdoor adventures. After I read "A Town like Alice" as a young adult I have been longing to go visit Uluru (Ayers Rock), the majestic Uluru, a sacred sandstone monolith in the heart of the Australian Outback, known for its changing colors during sunrise and sunset. And would also like to drive along the scenic Great Ocean Road, marveling at the Twelve Apostles and other natural limestone formations along the rugged coastline. In New Zealand, I hope to cruise through the stunning fiords of Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound, surrounded by towering cliffs, waterfalls, and lush forests. Hike some of the world-famous Great Walks, including the Milford Track, Routeburn Track, and Kepler Track, showcasing New Zealand's pristine landscapes. And to relax on the beautiful beaches of the Coromandel Peninsula, Abel Tasman National Park, and the Bay of Islands.
