Scenic background on Alaska cruise

If you haven't been to Alaska by cruise, you must! This is one of those experiences that is great for all ages! Besides spectacular glacier views and experiences, you can learn about several things that have impacted the life of those who call Alaska home, both past and present. Things like the Gold Rush, the timber industry, and it's proximity to Russia have left their mark throughout the state in different ways. Don't forget to spend time local Alaskan tribes that still live in the area. And best of all, behold the natural beauty that exists in Alaska first hand.

I have sailed with my family on Disney Cruise Line to Alaska, and have experience booking several vacations on Princess Cruise Line, and Celebrity Cruise Line. I've also had the pleasure of booking a wedding cruise to Alaska where the bride was married in Juneau, Alaska with glacier views in the background! I consider myself a fairly savvy traveler; however I’m new to the world of cruises. Thank goodness for Wonderland Vacations and Danielle! She masterfully assisted (juggled might be a better term) our large family group.
