Compliments to Teodor for booking us a wonderful trip to Mexico to celebrate 33 years of marriage. He surprised us by having told the resort to give us an amenity kit and put a "happy anniversary" sign on our door. He had recommended us this resort based on our dietary needs. We told him we were vegetarians and he recommended us the Catalonia Royal Tulum, where he had been and knew they have a vegetarian restaurant exclusive to Privilege Club guests. Upgrading to Privilege Club had its perks and we're grateful to Teodor for recommending us this resort. Any time my husband and I want to go on vacation, we only have to address to Teodor and briefly tell him what we want. For either all inclusive, tours, or specific destination he will come up with great ideas and offers. Teodor became a friend to us as now he knows exactly our preferences and needs. However, the last experience we had a couple of weeks ago, put Teodor on an even higher level of professionalism. We were already abroad, ready to return to Canada, without having a clue that our flight with KLM was cancelled. As we wanted to enjoy our vacation, we cut off all the social media comunication until the last day. Being on the airport after returning the rental car, we went to check for our flight information. Since the flight wasn't on the display, we panicked and went online to verify what is going on. Opening the phones we realized that Teodor had called, texted, and emailed us offering other options, asking us if we can leave the next day, which time of the day or airline we prefer. We did not check any of these, so he put so much effort to accommodate us the best with another flight only one hour difference. I could not even imagine what would have happened if Teodor wasn't there. We did not even have a car anymore at that point, we were standing there with the suitcases on the airport, we would have missed work on the next day. I made the mistake of trying to book with another agent at a well known chain, to give someone else a chance, and quickly realized that was a HUGE mistake when it all came crashing down. We had a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. We are used to going to either Mexico or Dominican, so we told Teodor we wanted to try something different this time. As usual, he recommended us the perfect resort. It was Riu Palace Costa Rica. Beautiful resort with endless activity options, especially since we had exchange privileges with the Riu Guanacastle next door. We helped a local community, and also did a tour to Nicaragua. And more - we went to the Plaza Premium Lounge at YYZ which was a great way to start our trip - also recommended by Teodor. Up to now we thought we have to be flying business class to use those lounges. What better way to start our trip than a good meal and glass of wine rather than the garbage food on planes.
