Cerro Gorrdo National Forest, Puerto Rico

Wow!  The years have flown by being a travel adviser!  During this time I continue to work on learning and expanding my knowledge base.  I love to continue to learn and grow in  all aspects of travel. 

A bit about me.  I am married to my husband, Tony, for over 30 years!  In fact we will celebrate number 32 cruising!  We have 4 wonderful children - who all are successful adults.  We have 5 grandchildren, and love watching them grow and blossom.  While East Texas is home, we find ourselves traveling and working disaster recovery.  This has allowed us to see a lot of the country.  Puerto Rico for a year, Nebraska for 6 months, Louisiana coast for the last 2 years, Houston and the SE coast of Texas for 2 years.  

I prefer to be a travel advisor, rather than a travel agent.  I love to teach and educate, so I think that when a person/group book with me we learn about the different options and discuss what they are wanting in the trip.  Sometimes, it is very cut and dry, they have a meeting and need to get there, a place to stay, and home.  Other times it may be a destination wedding, honeymoon, special anniversary and they have no idea where they want to go.  I present a lot of options in their price range, and then we meet virtually (usually) and begin to discuss what they like and what they don't like, until we find the "perfect" choice.
