Hello Fellow Adventurers! My name is Amy Jackson and I am located in sunny Florida.
Travel is LIFE to me! I’m pretty sure my love for travel began when I was 12 years old and we went on our one and only “family” vacation to California. At the time, I had never been out of my home State of Colorado and WOW what an eye-opener that trip was. We drove through Utah, Las Vegas and made it to San Francisco. From San Francisco, we made our way down through Anaheim, San Diego and then a quick stop in Tijuana. We did the obligatory “family” attractions but everywhere I looked there was something more to see and explore. Fast forward about 20 years until I was finally in a position to be able to afford to travel and started taking my son on different trips like Washington, D.C., London and an Alaskan Cruise. I’m a firm believer that the “World is bigger than your own backyard” and we need to get out there and explore it. Not everything needs to be an exotic, tropical destination. There is so much to see and do right where you live.
Happy Compass Travel was born out of my love of travel and having new experiences with other people and cultures. 20th Anniversary in Aruba

Vegas Baby!

Amy did an awesome job putting together my husband's BD Vegas trip. He wanted to see the Eagles, bucket list, and they were playing at the Sphere, another bucket list. Amy put together a list of a few hotels for us to choose from. She booked us non-stop flights and a room at the Venetian. SPECTACULAR! She offered to help with other excursions, but we just wanted to sight see. Highly recommend Amy. She stayed on top of the flight changes that occurred far before the trip and made sure we were all set before we departed.

Lovely Time in Amsterdam

When I contacted Amy I gave her pretty short notice that we wanted to get away to Amsterdam for a few weeks. She asked us a lot of questions about that we want to do when we were there and the type of hotel we wanted. She also asked if we had any mobility issues which was great because we did need some assistance lined up for us. She also referred us to a driver here in Florida who took us to the airport and picked us up. Amy was very friendly and helpful. She also sent me a text when we were in Amsterdam just to see how we were doing.

Fun Cruise with Friends

Amy was fantastic. She worked within my budget and understood what would make a memorable trip for my two daughters and me. She was flexible and worked with me as we had to add one of my daughters late to the reservation. We stayed in lovely hotels that were within walking distance to sites or public transportation. Italian Dream Adventure

The experience was positive, informative and provided a vast amount of options for trips, tours , sightseeing suggestions along with reference to art, museums and historic places. Italian words , tips and lists of restaurants and specialty foods , wine and candy popular in Italy were provided . Whatever the choice a person wanted Amy made it happen. You knew your date of event time cost and place where you needed to be for pick up . Every hotel was ready for us, rides on time and transport to and from our destinations always as stated in our itinerary. Amy remained available to all of us through the 13 day adventure. The trip went off without a hitch. Pick up to and from the airport was fantastic. This trip was a dream come true and I am so happy I went thru Happy Compass Travel. A fairy tale European honeymoon

Amy made our European honeymoon an absolute fairy tale, and made navigating travel across five cities in three countries a breeze. She had an initial conversation with us to find out what we liked and what mattered most to us, listened to our feedback on her first sample itinerary, then absolutely knocked the second itinerary out of the park to create the trip of our dreams! She booked everything from our flights to our rides to and from airports to our hotels and our tours so all that was left for us to do was ENJOY! I first met Amy on a Facebook page for a cruise that my husband & I were going on, that she so happened to be the one who started the page. She wasn’t our TA at the time but she had so much information and answered everyone’s questions. She really goes above & beyond. Our recent trip to Cozumel was amazing. Amy took care of everything. She was very patient with all my crazy questions. We will definitely be using her in the future.
