Lisa turned our pandemic holiday into a dream!

Lisa is AMAZING! We went to Florida for March Break. It was a trip we planned 6 months out. Lisa helped out every step of the way. She got us really great deals on airfare. No easy feat during March Break. She looked after our hotels, rental car and special accommodation for a family member in a wheelchair. She was so kind and sympathetic when I made some last minute changes when I thought a disney cabin might not work as well as a disney springs hotel. She was so quick and efficient with making the change and gave us some other tips as well. Lisa has so much experience! She gave us tips on how to navigate the parks with a wheelchair.
One day into our trip, everything went sideways. Disney announced they would be closing the day we we were to be at Epcot. She was in touch with us daily to change our plans and turn our theme park vacation into a beach vacation. It ended up being so much fun and incredibly relaxing. It feels like a dream. Lisa is a travel angel!

Lisa visited us at home and we discussed our travel needs. She took our travel criteria and she presented us with suitable options. After reviewing them we were able to narrow down our needs and she found us the perfect destination, Antigua! The resort was an all inclusive but Lisa went above and beyond by researching potential excursions for us take as well as looking into rental car agencies. Within the Portfolio that Lisa provided we were given flight itineraries, hotel info and vouchers, airport parking vouchers, excursion and car rental info, as well as a thank you gift. It contained all the information she knew we would need. When the world opens up for travel again I will book through Lisa exclusively!

I had worked with Lisa Carter and knew that she was also providing travel agent services through PORTFOLIO TRAVEL. My husband and I had never been on an extended cruise before and I knew that Lisa had so I messaged her. From the start, Lisa provided us with superb service and so much information about cruising and she immediately offered to help with our cruise ship booking and excursions and travel insurance. We didn't have to worry about a thing as Lisa was always one step ahead of us and even sent us a customized Travel Portfolio packed with all of our trip details and extra information. Then Covid-19 happened and one week before our trip, we had to cancel. We just got back from an all-inclusive trip to Mexico, and Lisa made the entire process incredibly easy. If you’re planning a group trip, I can’t recommend her enough!
She was so easy to talk to and responded to our questions right away. We were never left wondering about our booking status; she kept us informed every step of the way. She sent us plenty of reminders for deadlines and travel tips, which was a lifesaver for our group.

Day of the Dead!

We thought it would be a great idea to participate in Day of the Dead activities in Mexico City & then hope over to an all-inclusive somewhere to recover! Bahamas 2025

Lisa always pours her all into helping us plan the perfect vacation. We had a wedding celebration to attend in the Bahamas and she provided multiple quotes for various accommodations, helped us figure out what would suit our needs based on what we prioritize. When we got news the pool was closed at the resort she immediately took action and reached out to the hotel on our behalf, as well as the sales manager. This alleviated stress on us as travelers and we are highly appreciative of her dedication. Lisa checked in while we were away reminding us to check in for our flights home. When we had an issue with Air Canada the day we flew home Lisa was on the phone with Air Canada immediately. She will always prioritize your experience, answer in a timely manner, help plan the most beautiful trips and provide everything you need for travel in a lovely booklet before you leave. Our Honeymoon to Nevada/Utah

Lisa was absolutely incredible from start to finish on our honeymoon to Vegas and Utah. She was quick to respond to emails during the planning process and when she put together the final itinerary she really look our interests/discussions into consideration to pick activities or sights that we would love! She sent a hard copy of our portfolio to us in the mail a week before we left and we carried it with us everywhere. It has step by step directions for when our cell service was no good. It had recommended places to stop or places to eat along the way. It also had all the flight and hotel information we may have needed. Half way through our trip one of our hotels was not responding to provide check-in information. Lisa was on it right away and was contacting them and keeping us informed to make sure we had a place to stay. We felt at ease knowing we had her to connect with if we ran into any issues at all. We have already recommended her to some friends!

Trip of a lifetime with a beautiful surprise

our Alaskan Cruise on Grand Princess

Our primary motivation was to spend time with other family members from Ottawa, and we enjoyed time with them. The preparation for the cruise was very thoroughly handled by Lisa. Family of 15 DR vacation

This is our second large family group vacation that Lisa has organized for us. Our group had a wide range of ages from a toddler, to 20 year olds, to mature adults. The resort she recommended was great for us all!
We did experience a couple of flight disturbances that were caused by the airline, but entirely handled by Lisa upon our return! Lisa is a fantastic communicator and she puts countless hours into each client from the beginning planning stage, until you to return safely home. An Amazing Experience!

My two friends and I booked our graduation trip through Lisa. Lisa was a wonderful agent who made our travelling experience stress-free. I can’t give enough praise to Lisa!! She is detailed, organized, provides viable options, and lastly is great at handling unexpected situations with ease! Long story short we planned every little detail of our Caribbean cruise together after it had been canceled due to covid and 4 days before our cruise departed I got covid!! To say the least it was unexpected and I was in shambles. Lisa was right there to support me and help lift the weight of it all from my shoulders. She assisted me with getting refunds and credits anywhere we could. Before that cruise had even sailed back we we’re already planning our next trip and Lisa again didn’t disappoint. The most eventful holiday ever!!!

This trip would not have been possible without Lisa, her knowledge, expertise and professionalism. She went beyond her role to ensure that our vacation was a success. Part of our group tested positive for Covid, so had to cancel before, it went smoothly with Lisa going above and beyond. Part of our party had to cancel, Covid. The rest of group went on cruise, enjoyed Ports of call. Testing to return home, we had some positive cases, so we had to use our Covid insurance that we purchased through Lisa, when contacted about this, she was on the phone assisting us to do what needed to be done for us to return to Canada. Upon return home she went over what we needed to do for the claim and has been contacting insurance company for follow ups, to ensure it is answered and addressed. She is a fantastic travel advisor who researches all the details and works to ensure you have a smooth, easy, relaxing trip. She does all the worrying! Will not book another holiday without her!!!

Relaxing Family vacation!

We started working with Lisa when we were planning our first family trip to Hawaii. Lisa provided valuable insight into different accommodation types and activities/excursions which helped us to plan our budgeting. Nothing ended up getting booked because of Covid. We stayed in touch through her social media page and emails. Lisa would touch base to see what our comfort level with travel was through the pandemic. We finally decided we were ready to travel this summer, something private for just our family within Ontario. Lisa suggested Le Boat. A private boating rental along the Rideau Canal. Exactly what we were looking for. Lisa provided us with a rough itinerary to work with, guidebooks and maps, suggestions on where to dock and places to visit, coupons…all put together in a nice folder. It really kept us organized.
