Harry Potter Vacation Package at Universal Orlando

On arrival day you can check in to your Universal Orlando Resort hotel whenever you like! Even if you get there prior to the official 4pm check in time, you can leave your luggage at the resort when you check in and they will hold it for you until your room is ready. This allows you to go explore the hotel (maybe even take a dip in the pool!), head to Universal City Walk, or even start exploring the parks. If you aren't planning to visit one of the theme parks on your arrival day, I recommend taking time to visit Universal City Walk and maybe even book a dinner reservation at one of the amazing restaurants there. Toothsome's Chocolate Emporium is a great choice, even if it is just to grab one of their amazing milkshakes! Theme park admission is not required to enter Universal CityWalk and it is a short walk, boat or bus ride away from all of the Universal Orlando hotels. Be sure to get to sleep at a reasonable time so you are rested up and ready to explore the parks the next day!

Days 2-4 When visiting Universal Orlando I recommend at least 3 park days to see and do it all. You'll also want a park-to-park ticket so you can ride Hogwart's Express and visit both parks to experience both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. DON'T MISS RIDES Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey Hogwart's Express Make sure to enjoy both of your breakfasts at Three Broomsticks and the Leaky Cauldron, get your photos from Shutterbutton's, and enjoy your delicious ice cream from Florean Fortescue's. Try a Butterbeer (frozen is the best in my opinion!), take in all the little details, and maybe even buy an interactive wand to cast your own magical spells throughout the Wisarding World of Harry Potter. Don't forget other favorites like Velocicoaster, ET Adventure, Incredible Hulk Coaster, Men in Black, Rip Ride Rockit and so much more! Bourne Stuntacular is a can't miss show too!

You've had an exciting and fun-filled few days at Universal Orlando Resort, and it's time to check out and travel home. Official hotel check out time is 11 am BUT you are a still a resort guest your entire checkout day, so you're welcome to stay and enjoy the resort amenities, parks, and City Walk even after you check out. Like check-in day, your resort hotel will hold your luggage until you are ready to depart and head home. If you have a park ticket for the day, head over and get in a few last rides before your journey home. If you aren't visiting the parks on check out day it's a great time to visit Universal City Walk to do some shopping and grab a meal. For a delicious breakfast or snack, stop by VooDoo Donuts and try one (or a few!) of their incredible donut creations.
