From The Ruby Princess on the Mexican Riviera

Having been raised in the small central California town. I didn't get many opportunities to travel until I joined the Navy.  I ended up in the submarine service. 

I spent time in the Caribbean, the US east coast, Canada and Europe. That was my introduction to the world abroad.  It sparked my curiosity and I've been a fan of travel for education, enlightenment, and understanding ever since.

After getting my BA at the University of California,  I traveled almost a year in Europe  and east Africa before returning to California for a career in education. 

Mexico's Yucatan, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Spain, Scotland, Korea, the west coast of Africa (Nigeria & Ivory Coast), Kenya (in Africa's east) and the Philippines are other destinations I've been blessed to visit.
