I "ran away to sea" in 1977 and became an officer on the QE2. During the next 6 years, I sailed around the world 5 times and visited all of the continents except Antarctica - which is still on my bucket list!
Since then I have continued to enjoy ocean cruising but have also grown very fond of river cruises. After taking 7 groups on 4 different river cruise lines, I am looking forward to the next adventure.
Along with my extensive personal knowledge of the cruise lines and ports of call, I am a CLIA Master Cruise Counsellor, Cunard Commodore, Royal Caribbean Expert Plus and Azamara Platinum Globe Travel Professional.
