Our trip to Puerto Rico was amazing!! Joe was so helpful - all I gave him was the type of weather we wanted, the type of activities and the dates. He came back with Puerto Rico, suggestions on hotels, activities and accommodations at the Ritz Carlton and it didn't break the bank. I booked a group tour with Exodus from the US. My flight were not covered and I was sure I would screw up the timing and days of the flights so I sought help from Joe. He found great flights and then asked if he could get the trip assigned to him. That meant that Exodus only communicated with him in preparation. I read the fine print on the Exodus terms and conditions, so I also knew what to prompt him for if I had a question about something that was pending.

I thought the level of help and advice he gave us before our trip was great, but what he did during the trip was outstanding.

Joe helped us plan several days in London on our own, followed by a cruise around the British Isles with Viking. He did a wonderful job. He found the perfect hotel, connected to Victoria Station, so we could move around the city easily. He gave us a huge list of day trips and activities to choose from to fill our days, and he even arranged for a wheelchair transport through airports for my husband. When one of our bags was delayed in Chicago, Joe coordinated things with our travel insurance company, and guided us through communicating with British Airways to get the bag returned. He was instrumental in the success of our trip.

My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Joe to plan our honeymoon to Northeastern Italy, including trips to Verona, Lake Garda, Cortina, and then ending in Venice. Joe was great to work with and was very flexible and patient with us to find amazing accommodations that met our budget. We certainly would not be able to find those types of accommodations on our own. We also really appreciate the recommendation to consider visiting Cortina in the Alps to help us get some great hiking in (we did!). Our flight was cancelled by ice storms so we were able to stay another day in paradise!! Joe arrange a substantial discount for the extra night and a new flight was arranged the next day. I contacted Joe Lang in mid March 2016 and inquired about planning my 1st anniversary trip with my wife. He was our agent in 2015 thru a referral so I decided to use his services again as our honeymoon was AMAZING! I wanted to find a location with a direct flight and during the 4th of July holiday extended weekend so I was worried the dates and the timing would work both financially and schedule wise (limited vacation days with my new job). Joe was very informative, experienced, and provided excellent communication as we planned the trip and created the vision to ensure a wonderful time for my wife and I. Based on Joe's recommendation and my budget, I decided to take my wife to Cancun, MEX. She speaks fluent Spanish and had only been with her sister so I felt this was the perfect choice. The resort, services, and events offered were an even better upgrade than I has expected and my wife was surely more satisfied than even during our honeymoon. We enjoyed 1st class meals, courtesy for the staff, beautiful weather, and top notch accommodations as our room location and access to pool/ocean was priceless! Joe Lang is a great travel agent, always ready to help, very knowledgable, and, most importantly, around in those inevitable emergencies when the flight is cancelled and you really have to get home. A call to Joe, no matter what time of day or night, and he gets you out of a bind. This happened most recently when I was trying to get from Detroit to Raleigh and the flight was delayed (even worse than canceled). Joe managed to rebook me through Atlanta and I made it in time for the dinner in my honor.

Joe immediately called me and searched a number of resorts and found the last two tickets on a plane to our destination. Joe picked the resort and found the tickets and within 2 hours of my email our goal was accomplished. The resort he picked was fabulous and we had the best time. Joe made our first experience cruising a very successful one. From his recommendations to what Cruise Line to take to his advice on Excursions we always felt we were making good choices. With so many different options you want someone to help navigate the first time voyager and he did a fine job. Our family of 5 had a fantastic trip.

I met Joe through the Chamber of Commerce and emailed him about helping us plan a short vacation to the Caribbean. We ended up choosing Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic because we had been there once before and enjoyed it. Joe sent us several options for all-inclusive resorts and we picked one that we felt best suited us. The booking process was simple. Joe did everything! The morning of the departure, we were charged a $50 baggage fee for our checked bag. Joe had told us that one checked bag was free since we bought the trip insurance. But the lady at the airline counter said we didn't have the "right" insurance that covered a checked bag. Oh well, we thought. We paid it. When we got back, Joe contacted me and asked how the trip was. I said GREAT. The resort was wonderful. The staff was attentive. We enjoyed the food and drinks and pool and honestly - everything the resort offered. I told him about the $50 bag fee. He asked for the receipt. We didn't have one. All I was able to send was a transaction from my Bank of America card showing the charge. Joe was awesome enough to make that work and now we are going to be reimbursed the $50. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with Joe for doing this. In addition, Joe called us the day we left for our trip and the following day to check in. Just great service all around. We'll be using Joe again and telling our friends to call him if they need a great travel agent that really cares about his clients.

Joe was essential in planning my trip to SE Asia. He was very patient in presenting Mekong River cruise information until I found just the right one; I even received a free single supplement for a deluxe cabin. Also took time to find the best air fare. He planned an extension to Danang, Hoi An, Hue and Laos. All of the hotels were perfect, reflecting the character of each city and located in ideal locations where touring the areas on foot was no problem. The transfers from the airports to the hotels and back were arranged with the guides checking us in to all hotels, accompanying us to the airport ticket counters and not leaving us until we went through security. In a country like Laos where little English is spoken this was very important. Throughout the trip I had some questions and emailed him. Within hours he had answered and taken care of all concerns--even when, for him, it was the middle of the night. My 3 1/2 week trip, which involved 3 countries and much air travel, was flawless.

Joe does a great job of handling "crisis" situations when I'm on the road and getting a bad deal from weather or the airlines. If he can get me home somehow, some way, he does.

Joe really went above and beyond helping us set up our Hawaiian wedding last summer. From coordinating our weird flight requirements to putting us in touch with excellent wedding planners, Joe helped make our experience seamless and everything we could have hoped for. We've used Joe for three big tropical trips over the last 4-5 years and every experience has been great.
