Caribbean Destination Advisor

I had my first taste of the Caribbean in 1993. It was a cruise aboard  Royal Cariibbean's Sovereign of the Seas, considered the pre-cursor to modern day cruise ships. Living in a cold climate, I just wanted to get away to a warm, sunny climate & palm trees. I had never been on a cruise before but the itinerary included ST.Thomas, USVI, Puerto Rico and CoCo Cay, RCL's private island. It is now known as Perfect Day at CoCo Cay. The trip was amazing and I fell in love with the Caribbean as soon as I step off the ship at our first port of call. Not only the island itself but also the people who lived there. Friendly, courteous and very welcoming. Since that first cruise, I have sailed to the islands over 30 times. A lot of them multiple times.
