Individual and Group Travel Specialist

I wanted to share our wonderful experience with Ira Gross as our travel agent We were lucky in that our kids surprised us with a week to Portugal. They worked with Ira regarding all the details. Ira was very helpful in suggesting tours that we should consider. Based on his recommendations we did all of them and they were all awesome!

We enjoyed working with Ira. He listened carefully to our needs and helped to create a trip according to our specifications. He cares a lot about his clients and is always available for them. Would recommend.

Ira is a great listener and really understands the kind of travel experience we want. He has made our travel experience so much better!

We just had the best family vacation celebrating my parent's 70th wedding and my sister's birthday. Many thanks are due to Ira Gross and Cravel Travel who helped us plan such a great vacation. Every detail was tended to by Ira. He took care of all of our special needs. Ira was prompt and courteous with all our questions. We will definitely be planning more vacations and our first call will be to Ira to help us get the best vacation! Thank you so much, Ira!

Ira supported our group of 50+ people in reservation. Always available to answer questions and extremely helpful. Very professional and dedicated.

My husband and I have been working with Ira for the last several years. He has arranged various vacations for us (all inclusive Caribbean trips, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, as well as, other road trips). Ira is very professional and reliable. He responds to emails in a timely manner, as well as, phone calls. He is always available to discuss travel plans, offers suggestions and gets you the best rates. He does not rush and takes his time to get you the best vacation. Thank you Ira!

Ira was so helpful throughout the entire process: inquiry, booking, while on our trip, and checking in when we arrived back home. We got everything we wanted staying at the Luxury Ambar and he truly could not have done better. I would recommend using Ira to support booking any trip!

Ira was great - start to finish. Provided a variety of options for our group trip to Guancaste, Costa Rica. We stayed at Planet Hollywood- All Inclusive. The best buffett for every meal, my family really enjoyed the food whether on resort or off during our excursions planned through Viator with Ira’s help. The property was clean, the staff were friendly. Ira checked in before, during, and after to make sure everything from hotel transfers and the stay was set up, everything went very smoothly!

Ira was recommended to us by a close friend, who has used him repeatedly to plan trips abroad. We are so glad we listened to him and used Ira, because from start to finish, the experience was top notch! Ira is so generous with his time and such a good listener. He really wants to make sure you enjoy yourselves and that your trip is all you had hoped for. His efforts are so obviously not cookie cutter trip planning, but tailor made to the traveler. He talked to us at length about Costa Rica and what kind of sights and experiences we wished to have. He was precise about accommodations, transport preferences and locale. He made sure we had all of our documents and was very patient and "hand holding" through the process! He checked in on us several times, even during the trip, to make sure all was well and that we were enjoying ourselves! This is truly service that is above and beyond the norm. Ira even scheduled a feedback session this week, so that he could hear about the trip and

It was just so well planned and executed.

My sister and I had the pleasure of working with Ira Gross from Crave Getaways Travel for our Hurtigruten Northern Lights vacation cruise. I cannot express enough how outstanding Ira's service was throughout the entire planning, collaboration, and implementation of our unforgettable bucket list Norway vacation adventure. Ira researched and identified Norway’s Hurtigruten Cruise, one of the only cruise lines which guarantees that we would see the Northern Lights (which were even more astounding than we ever imagined!). Ira also organized unforgettable excursions, including the Sami cultural experience, the Magical Igloo Ice Hotel in Alta, Vikings in Haugesund, Norway's rich heritage tours and enjoying mouthwatering local fish and the largest Underwater restaurant in the world called Under in Lindesnes, Norway. Waking up to views of the fjords, serene sea and mountain landscapes each morning from Hurtigruten’s Trollfjord Grand Suite was a terrific treat. Ira demonstrated a level of

Ira is thorough, accessible, creative, and flexible!

Ira is an expert at the follow up and completion. There's so much to remember and to complete on time. I would have missed all the crucial deadlines if Ira dint nudge me to get cracking. Ira is extremely responsive, via email, late phone calls or texts. He definitely helped us to book, pay, and enjoy our vacation. Wherever there were multiple, reasonable options to consider, Ira presented them clearly and explained the pros and cons of each. Highly recommend Ira for all travel needs!

Ira gave my family of 12 the best experience for our trip to Club Med Punta Cana. He handled every detail, with personal attention to each of us. I'll be calling again for our next vacation

Ira did a great job planning our Danube River cruise. We added days both before (Prague) and after (Budapest) and had great excursions with excellent tour guides along the way. Ira had great suggestions (attractions, restaurants) and was able to secure discounts / group rates. Ira's coordination and follow-up communication ensured that our logistics and experiences went smoothly. We will definitely use Ira for future vacation planning.

Ira is easy to work with and stays on top of all of the details. He did a great job for us! He organized a group trip on an Avalon Waterways river cruise in June 2024. We had a great time, likely due a lot to Ira's work behind the scenes in making everything come together.

Very knowledgeable and lead the way with expertise. Was patient during the process to allow us room to research and explore options. Very responsive when needed and providers us with individual attention. Guided us with professional and educated knowledge of the areas

Ira is a pleasure to work with. He is passionate about travel and very responsive to all of our needs.

My husband and I worked with Ira from Crave Getaways to plan our anniversary vacation. He did a fantastic job! Ira made planning this vacation a breeze. He accommodated us by speaking with us in the evening . During calls he asked us about our prior vacations to get an idea of what we liked. His focus on where we wanted to stay really paid off. Ira excelled in finding us the right hotel, (size, location, American owned vs European)!! Ira also made excursions suggestions and sent links for easy review and booking. He made a restaurant recommendation to one of the best dinners we had. When Ira learned our return flight was cancelled, he reached out to remind us he was there in case we needed any help.

Ira, thank you for arranging an amazing trip. The whole trip went very smoothly, and we had the best anniversary celebration ever!! We are already starting to think about our next trip and how early we should give you call.

Ira was awesome! He helped us a plan a great adventure to Canada, by finding the perfect places to stay, getting us great deals and upgrades, and handling all the logistics to get us set up on our first Backroads trip. He was attentive and responsive; a real pro! We will be back and will recommend him freely to others. Thanks, Ira!

We had an amazing experience with Crave Getaways. Every detail was executed to perfection. I was extremely satisfied with the scheduling and the response back and forth communication. Ira was knowledgable and helped with planning our dream vacation. I will definitely use Crave Getaways for all my travel needs.

Very professional, and listened intently to what we were looking for in our vacation. Had a great time.

Ira is very detail-oriented and listened to our needs and wants. He is very responsive and has a great intuition to understand what we would like. On both our trip to Spain in 2022 and South America in 2023 everything went off without a hitch. Amazing guides. Smooth transfers. Nice hotels. I highly recommend Ira--and have referred family and friends to him. We are looking forward to planning our next adventure with him!

Ira was very patient, responsive and attentive. He had excellent suggestions and was helpful even with the least important questions.

Ira has been a saint, very kind and patient in helping me put a trip together - a lot to squeeze into a week of a spring break. But he pulled it all together and it worked! Kids loved it, and mom’s educational mission has been accomplished.

Ira is the quintessential travel planner. He is readily accessible, has broad knowledge of all aspects of domestic and international travel, flights, accommodations and perks, and is a pleasure to work with.

Ira is very caring and attentive. He goes above and beyond to get you the best travel deals and gives you extra personal attention.
