Sevier Co Tennessee / Pigeon Forge at Sunset

I am 60 years of age. I have been selling Travel since April, 2019. On February 10, 2014, on my way home from work I was involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident. Black Ice was the underlying factor. I sustained a C-5 / C-6 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury. I have C-4 Motor Sensory. My Wife and I traveled frequently. We continue to be determined not to allow this to deter our travels. Travel not only helps Disabled / Handicapped individuals, with socialization, but is also very therapeutic. Throughout the 5+ years since my injury, we have traveled a great deal. Current ADA Rules and Regulations are out of date. I am currently working with several Legislators to get updates made. I work as a “Champion” with the Christopher Reeves Foundation where I assist them with getting ADA legislation enacted. I am appalled at the manner of which ADA issues are handled as it pertains to Travel. There is no accountability. We have been working on a list of Hotels that truly are ADA accessible. Much of this information, other agents will not have. Individuals with Disabilities should be able to travel just like everyday people. I am working as a Travel Agent to assist every person, especially those with disabilities to travel wherever they would like to go and have as much of a trouble free experience as can be possible. I realize that each person has different needs and look forward to putting together a travel plan specific to those needs. Besides, who better to understand your needs than someone who also shares them ?? I look forward to assisting each and every one of you.
