We've had our fair share of movement within the States – Detroit, MI, Hampton, Virginia, and Atlanta, GA but in 2013, we left our Fort Lauderdale, FL bubble after ten years to start our expat journey. Since then, our family has grown by two, and we are now the blessed parents of an ultra-creative daughter and a willfully active son.

Before moving abroad, I owned and managed an Infant Cloth Diaper service that still exists and serves parents in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties in Florida. This business's past and current success remain an integral part of my story and my identity as an entrepreneur. In addition, I have been a Hatha/Vinyasa yoga student for more than 15 years. Once we moved aboard, I earned my 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training Certificate (YTT 200) and began teaching yoga within the U.S. Embassy community in Frankfurt, Germany, and Bangkok, Thailand.
