I am headed into my 8th year as a working travel agent. I have a degree in Travel Business Management. I have traveled almost the entire USA & am now working my way outward. My love for travel came from family road trips across the country as a child. My favorite U.S. destinations are the casinos in Las Vegas, NV; Disneyland & Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA, the grand mountain peaks of Colorado & the big city lights of Chicago. I also LOVE traveling to new amusement parks of any kind. I have cruised to the white sandy beaches of Cozumel, gorged on jerk chicken & walked through waterfalls in Jamaica & danced & drank MamaJuana with the locals in the Dominican Republic, where I also had the chance to visit 20 different all inclusive resorts! But MEXICO has to be my absolute favorite place in the world. The food, people & beaches make me never want to come home, and I feel safer there than I do in my own hometown.
This Post-Pandemic era in which we live has not made it easy for those who love to travel. I am here to help anyone with questions about traveling safely during these trying times.
My experience is growing every day as a full-time travel agent. In this business we learn something new each & every day. My favorite part of my job is the chance to research & learn more about exciting new places. I also live for making lasting memories for my clients through travel; just knowing I had a small part in that is enough to make me LOVE MY JOB :)

Becky gets you into see her in a timely fashion. She is cheerful which makes her fun to work with. Becky answers questions thoroughly and if she doesn't know the answer she researches to find out No questions are dumb questions with her. We are train travelers and she calls Amtrak while we are seated with her. I have no desire to wade through that process so it is reassuring to have her do it for us. At our request Becky prints off hard copies for us to take with us. As older folks it acts as a backup to the computer copies. She is very attentive to individual needs. We have traveled Amtrak multiple times and never had a hitch. We highly recommend Becky for your travel needs

This was my first time using a travel agent. In the past I've always avoided them because I felt they were just a middle man not worth the cost. In my mind, what could they do that Google couldn't? Becky Pogar is our travel agent at Gulliver’s Travel in Bettendorf, Iowa. She was new to us in the Fall when we decided to plan a Christmas trip. She was absolutely wonderful in helping us pick the perfect spot for us. She was so patient and kind and answered a million questions and concerns. We decided on Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montgomery Bay. She arranged for Club Mobay for us which was wonderful. I am handicapped and she went out of her way to see that all my needs were met in Montego Bay and at O’hare in Chicago.
I fell and was injured while at Sandals and since we have been home she has spent countless hours helping us to get paperwork and information necessary from the hospital in Montego Bay for insurance. The hospital overcharged us over $2,000 and she was instrumental in getting it refunded to us. It never would have happened without her. She is now helping us with travel insurance. There is no question that she will be our “go to travel agent” from now on. We h

Talk about going above and beyond she returned our call at 11pm at night and talked us through options and helped with rebooking flights until 2am! I would highly recommend Becky for her personal attention and when airlines let you down Becky finds a way! The rest of our trip was relaxing and we had great weather. Mexico never disappoints!
