I grew up in Philadelphia and continue to live here today, and I fondly remember visiting my extended family in Hartford, CT, over the years. They all have Scottish ancestry, and I love connecting with our shared heritage through their stories and experiences.

I became very interested in my family’s history, and I began taking trips to Scotland, Ireland, and throughout the United Kingdom as often as possible. One time, my husband and I were walking through Kilbirnie on our final day in Scotland when we ran into some of my relatives downtown. We spent the entire day together, and I was able to get a picture of the house my grandmother grew up in which was simply amazing.

After years of booking my own trips, I decided to become a travel agent and help everyone explore the world. Today, I specialize in genealogical, cultural, and experiential travel to Scotland, Ireland, England, and beyond. I’m certified as a SCOTSagent, BRITagent, and Ireland Specialist which gives me the tools to help you dive into the local culture and get the most out of your experience. I recently booked for clients with Irish lineage, and I helped them visit many of the towns their ancestors were from. I then booked a ferry to Scotland that recreated the experience of how their family would have traveled many generations ago. Along with this, I found local restaurants that served traditional cuisine along with local fairs that provided a firsthand experience of the culture.
