Thank you for visiting my Travel Profile! My name is Alyssa J. Stevens, MA VTA. Long Island born and raised, I have been a Special Occasion Travel Advisor for approximately ten years though I have been traveling for more than 40, both domestically and internationally.
Athletic competitions during my adolescence allowed me to travel throughout the United States and study abroad as a young adult opened a world of international destinations during my college experience. Prior to joining the Travel Industry in 2015, I found myself working for the unique Study Abroad and Global Studies degree program that impacted my life years previously recruiting, advising, enrolling and even escorting students abroad for a decade.
Our international campuses traversed the globe and included stops in Australia, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and more! My study abroad experience through this exact program allowed me to share my experiences and encourage others to have their own transformational adventure! I continue to do so to date as an Independent Travel Advisor with a focus on special occasion travel for individuals and groups of all ages, by air, land and sea!

My credentials include an undergraduate degree in Communications - Public Relations (BFA), a graduate degree in English - Teaching of Writing (MA), Travel Advisor Studies through the Travel Leaders of Tomorrow Program (TLOT) and a Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) designation from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA). This was the second time using Alyssa. Our first all-inclusive trip to Punta Cana, DR was canceled due a health crisis. She canceled everything for us with ease. She put our refund in place and our airline credit awaited us to be used when we were ready.

Better than expected group trip!

I recently went on a group trip that was planned by Alyssa. The group had planned the trip several months prior to the trip. I was undecided until approx. 2 weeks before the trip. I contacted Alyssa and she assured me that she could make this trip a reality for me. She did just that. She booked my accommodations and airfare within 24 hours. When I got to the resort I was on the same wing as the rest of the group and had all of the same amenities. She arranged everything to perfection. We were literally treated exceptionally well. I usually book my own trips because I am a control freak but having this experience with Alyssa was life changing. I made one text to her and didn't have to lift a finger after that. She contacted the entire group every step of the way. She even had us download an app that allowed us to cut down the line when we arrived back in the US. I was very impressed with Alyssa and will definitely use her again with great confidence.

It was great working with Alyssa! We did a Girl’s trip to Las Vegas and Alyssa planned everything from air flights, hotel and limo transportation to and from the airport. I’ve been to Las Vegas many times, but this was my first time staying at the Venetian. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend one of their suites. I’m looking forward to my next trip and plan to use Alyssa!

The Dream Vacation Still Being Planned

Alyssa was great!
We didn't end up booking due to technical issues with the timing of our trip, but Alyssa was amazing in dealing with all of our questions. She answered all of our calls, emails, and text messages. She is very patient and understanding and went out of her way to try to find us the best possible vacation package that would work for us.
Her generosity really shone through when she didn't charge us anything even after all the hours she dealt with us and us having to put on vacation on hold for the time being.
I will most likely be calling her back soon for some more awesome destinations to go to. Keep up the great work!
