Oceans take you to countries, Rivers travel through them

My clients love the personal care and attention in creating the PERFECT River Cruise Experience. Experiencing the local culture, local entertainment and luxury of being ON THE RIVER and experiencing  We are ready to help you explore the historic castles, grand parliaments and châteaux to open land, vineyards and parks.  There is always something to see in the ever-changing landscape along the riverbanks.  Each river experience is unique and has so much to offer:

Danube River One of the most popular river experiences, that captures literature, art, and Strauss’s famous “Blue Danube” waltz, the Danube is pure romance as it flows through ten countries and four capital cities, including Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Belgrade, before emptying into the Black Sea. It is fascinating to explore the UNESCO-designated storybook charm of the Wachau Valley and at the Iron Gates, a dramatic gorge with steep rock faces where the Danube narrows and winds through the Carpathian and Balkan Mountains between Serbia and Romania. And the Danube’s banks are lined with broad vineyards, ancient castles and magnificent cathedrals, medieval towns and Roman ruins.

Rhine, Main, Moselle Rivers.  The Rhine flows all the way from the Swiss Alps to France, Germany and the Netherlands, where it pours into the North Sea. Forty castles and fortresses stand guard on the hills along the legendary Rhine Gorge in Germany, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of its main tributaries, the Moselle River, is framed by peaceful vineyard-covered hills and medieval towns, with fortified castles perched high above. The Rhine’s other major tributary, the Main, is home to the 106-mile man-made marvel known as the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal, which enables us to travel from the North Sea to the Black Sea through the Continental Divide, where locks carry ships to a height of as much as 1,300 feet above sea level.

Dutch and Belgian Waterways Belgium and the Netherlands are known as the Low Countries, since they are below sea level, and part of their charm stems from the windmills and dikes that keep the land dry. Our cruises take in the famous carpets of flowering color and scent in spring, along with the art of Rembrandt, Rubens and Michelangelo, and luxury goods from the famous blue and white Delft porcelain to the diamond exchanges in Antwerp./=

Christmas Markets  It is fun experiencing the infamous Christmas markets. On the Danube and Rhine rivers you can experience charming Christmas markets brimming with color and lights.  Maybe you want to  indulge in flavors and aromas of hot mulled wine and gingerbread, and enjoy the Christmas markets of grand cities like Vienna, Budapest, Strasbourg and Cologne.
