I came to Danette with a clear vision of what I wanted, but I had little travel experience and a lot of anxiety. She listened carefully and designed a beautiful, highly customized trip that turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t realize at first that my vision wasn’t the “standard” way people see Switzerland, but Danette made it happen!
She handled everything with thoughtfulness and expertise, keeping in mind specific needs and things I wanted to avoid. The result was a journey through villages and lakes that felt both magical and deeply restorative, which was exactly what I was hoping for.
In a time of so much DIY, working with Danette was a reminder of the value of a knowledgeable and intuitive human guide. Very grateful!

It was a HUGE blessing to have the trip so well planned out and prepaid for so many things. Danette met with us initially to plan and the outcome reflected her careful attention to our preferences. It was a perfect blend of scheduled and unscheduled activities. The hotels she chose were amazing and all the logistics worked so smoothly, down to the best restaurant recommendations too! The communication in preparing and during the trip were excellent. I cannot recommend her help too much!

Wonderful introduction to Ireland!

Danette recommended a Globus bus tour for our first trip to Ireland. It was lovely having someone else drive the hundreds of kms we drove last week, so we could enjoy the beautiful Irish countryside. We covered a lot more kms than if we had driven ourselves in a rented car. The scheduled tour stops at the Irish stud farm, farm to bake scones & see the sheep & sheep dog in action & the Waterford Crystal factory were perfectly fit to the tour. Well done.

Family Alaska Cruise

My family and I ( 5 adults) loved working with Danette to help plan our cruise to Alaska. She was always quick to answer our questions, and offered suggestions throughout our booking (cruise lines, cabins, excursions) as well as worked to get us the best pricing possible. Danette was reassuring when we ran into small glitches with the cruise line app, and provided us backup documentation if needed.

Spectacular Scottish Adventure

I worked with Danette at Enriched Travel to plan a custom trip to Europe, first to Scotland and then flying to France. Danette covered all the bases for the trip by going over everything that was important to me and making sure she hit those checkpoints. She created a flawless, custom itinerary that included everything I needed. I could access the itinerary offline in a mobile app, and she even dropped my travel documents in it for easy reference if I needed them. The hotels and activities were excellent. Her descriptions of the areas and recommendations were spot on. I felt so prepared and like I had inside information. We absolutely loved Scotland and we enjoyed seeing new things in France. She was on top of everything, and even managed to get my husband and I an upgraded (by two levels) room on our cruise ship for cheaper than our original cost. Danette found this trip for me after a trip I had wanted to take was canceled. She knew my interests and found a perfect match. She continued as an ideal intermediary between me and the cruise service, by asking question I hadn't considered. Prior to leaving she developed a detailed plan of the trip including flights, hotels, ground transportation, phone numbers and itinerary. She uses a platform which can update flight info which was handy. After the trip she wanted an honest review of the trip as a quality check. That make me comfortable. I know that when she recommends a travel destination she'll give an honest review.

Best Travel Agent Ever!

Danette is wonderful to work with! She helped my husband and I plan a dream trip to Italy. She listened carefully to our wants and needs and helped us create an itinerary that checked our boxes and met our budget. She advised us on all aspects of our trip , including travel insurance. Thanks to her meticulous planning, our travel to, through, and home from Italy went very smoothly. The restaurants she suggested were sublime and the excursions she planned (glassblowing in Venice, bicycle tour of Florence) truly enhanced our experience.
When we experienced a glitch with our hotel in Florence, Danette was right there communicating with hotel management and obtaining a refund for our stay. We will definitely call on her to plan our next overseas adventure!

The dream vacation for our entire family!

Danette went above and beyond to make my first trip to Europe incredible. She made sure to listen to all the preferences for the trip for both my husband and myself and our two young adult children. The hotel locations and services were top-notch, the tours she recommended were excellent, the transportation (train, water taxi, plane, etc.) was easy to navigate, and the travel app was extremely thorough with every detail and tickets attached. Danette spent so much time making sure every detail was taken care of so that travel went smoothly. She answered questions and changed our itinerary several times during the planning stages to meet our preferences.
