My first complete experience with independent travel was in planning our own 3-week trip throughout most of France.  We began our adventure in Paris, took a train to Normandy where we rented a car and drove throughout eastern and southern France over a 3-week time span.  It was the trip of a lifetime.  I selected hotels in Paris, Normandy, Mont St Michel, the Loire Valley, the Dordogne, Carcassonne, Arles, and Nice.  We hired a guide for a tour of Normandy beaches.  At one point we detoured to Albi to see the Toulouse Lautrec museum. We walked though Nice on market day, savoring the aromas of cooking meats, olives, cheeses and pastries.

Since then, I have planned independent vacations for clients throughout Europe, including London, Paris, Rome, Prague, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Lisbon.  I help with every detail of the plan and provide a complete set of documentation that will serve as your "trip bible". This includes transportation, hotels, guided tours, restaurants, museums, and other points of interest.  I provide a suggested itinerary for each day that is customized to your own requirements. 

Many customers couple a few days of independent travel with a scheduled cruise or tour.  This provides the best of both worlds:  a bit of time to explore on your own and the benefits of a group tour.
