Hi! I am a current stay-at-home mom, former high school math and physics teacher, and Tennessean turned Floridian who also LOVES to plan vacations. Katelyn is excellent!!! This is my second time working with Katelyn. This is the first time that we have used her for a personal vacation. Katelyn provided us with many wonderful options that she made sure met the requirements that we had. She answered the many questions that we had quickly. Once we decided on a location for our honeymoon she had it booked in no time. There was literally no effort on our part and she handled it all. Before getting in contact with Katelyn Doxey I actually tried to plan the trip by myself but got so overwhelmed by the whole thing and all the different choices! Katelyn took all the stress of planning a trip completely away. I told her exactly what I wanted and she was able to make it all happen and more! She was extremely patient and reachable. No matter what time of the day I reached out to her she would always respond quickly and effectively. Katelyn did not just stop at planning the trip but the day of the actual trip she reached out to me to make sure everything went smoothly. I have friends that went on the same trip that I went to on their own and their experience was no where near my experience and that was all because of Katelyn! Katelyn literally made Disney a breeze. I hadn't been in 25 years but wanted to take my daughter for a magical 4th birthday trip. I knew so much had changed but she helped with EVERYTHING! Snorkeling, Mayans, and Food

Katelyn was great at communicating with us. She let us know quickly what the cruise costs and cabin situation was. All we did was tell her our cruise interest, personal information needed by the cruise line and of course our payment method. Once all was arranged, Princess without permission or without notification changed our cabin. Despite telling Katelyn it was fine, she continued to work to get it changed back to the original. I should add that at the time she was working on this cruise for us, she was doing three other cruises for my husband and I, a family trip for 12 of us and a girlfriend’s trip. Each process was organized and informative. We’ve used AAA before but frequently they could not be reached. This was not the case with Kaitlyn. She was so responsive. Use her! You won’t regret it.

This was the easiest time I’ve ever had planning a trip. I let Katelyn know where we wanted to go, where we’d like to stay, and how long we would be there. She went above and beyond and even sent local attractions and events happening in the area while we were there and checked on us to make sure check-in and the trip was going as planned. Katelyn was absolutely incredible to work with. My wife & I took a trip to Orlando/Disney for our 1st anniversary, and we had such a great time. Katelyn is the best!!! She was such a joy to work with from start to finish. This was my first time using the services and guidance of a travel planner, and I couldn't be happier. Katelyn was great about answering all of my questions and was very patient and kind with my friends and me. I plan on getting her help again with future trips, and I would gladly recommend her to any of my family and friends.
As for the trip, we went to Platinum Yucatán Princess! And wow! I love this place so much, and I can't wait to go back! The staff was wonderful, and the layout of the resort was perfect! I would recommend you getting a pool side room over a hot tub room.

We had issues with the airline postponing our flight coming back home and she worked nonstop to get us a refund for the flights and reimbursement from our travel insurance for unexpected expenses. My husband & I got married in Nov. 2014, but we were not able to take our honeymoon right away. For my birthday in Oct. 2017, my husband told me that we were going to book our honeymoon, & he wanted us to go on a trip to Disneyworld. A friend of the family recommended Katelyn to us, & I reached out to her right away! Within a few hours, she had a quote prepared for us. After thinking about it for a few days & asking for second, third, & fourth quotes, we finally decided on a short trip to Disneyworld followed by a Disney cruise in Sept. 2018. With a little under a year to plan every second of our trip, she was there to answer our questions & provide the best recommendations. Y'all...she woke up early to book our Fast passes & got us a reservation to the always booked Be Our Guest restaurant in Beast's castle!!! Katelyn was wonderful. I was in the middle of planning a wedding and had to add the honeymoon on top of it but she made it super easy for my husband and i. She did everything for us and when the time came to enjoy our vacation, we had a BLAST. We wish now that we would have planned a longer stay.
