Travel Leaders - Journeys Travel Group was bestowed Travel Leader's top honor, the Golden Legacy Award, at the 2010 National Meeting in November 2010.  The prestigous award honors Travel Leaders Associates whose lifetime achievements best exemplify entire system’s entrepreneurial spirit and highest quality standards. TL - JTG owners, Annette and Jim Youngbauer, have been serving travelers with excellence for over 30 years.

Annette first came to the United States as a very young girl from Belgium through Ellis Island. After first entering the travel industry as an employee of an airline, she learned about the travel agency business by working at a local agency. In 1976, Annette invested in herself by opening her own agency.

In addition to the Golden Legacy Award, TL - JTG has earned countless honors through the years, including Travel Leaders’ own Award of Excellence, Funjet’s Agency of the Year, Apple Vacation’s Golden Apple, and NCL’s Elite Wave Agency in Wisconsin. The company has also earned the distinction of being among the Top 100 Women Owned Businesses in Wisconsin since 2001.
