Our History

Travel Leaders/Discovery World Travel's roots can be traced back to 1949 when John Prigge, along with his two sons Jerome and Jim purchased a local bus company and began providing charter and school bus service in Sheboygan. Eventually, the need for a full service travel agency resulted in the opening of Discovery World Travel in 1976 to coordinate the sales of motorcoach tours, airline tickets, cruises and package tours. Today, following mergers with Executive Travel, Traveler's World, and Travel by Design, we have locations in 6 Wisconsin communities and representatives in 2 others locations providing complete travel service with a personal touch.
