Kathy began her career with Travel Leaders over fifteen years ago when she started out greeting clients working as a receptionist.  Eventually she moved into her current role as a travel specialist.  Kathy has traveled extensively around the world to exotic destinations such as Ireland, Paris, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Montreal, Quebec City, and Alaska along with many other places in the United States.  Kathy enjoys working in the travel industry as it is different every day.  She books cruises, all-inclusive packages, air, hotel, car, small groups, and honeymoons all around the world. She continues to learn about new destinations and products to match her clients with their dream vacation.

After 20 years of active duty in the United States Air Force, Renee earned her certificate from the Travel Academy 11 years ago and began her new profession as a travel specialist.  During her air force career, she lived in Germany for eight years and traveled extensively throughout Europe so she brings a unique expertise on European destinations to her clients.  Renee specializes in arranging travel for military personnel and their families. As a certified Hawaii Specialist, shehas visited all the Hawaiian Islands extensively and has first hand advice on the variety of activities Hawaii offers.

Judy has 25 years experience working in the travel industry and has been specializing in group travel for the past nineteen years.  Judy’s specialty group trips include cruises, wedding destinations, corporate and incentive groups, and family/friend reunions.   She also has extensive experience in all aspects of individual travel including air, car, hotel, and cruises.  Judy’s favorite travel destinations are Hawaii, Italy & Mexico.

Barb’s entire career has been spent in the travel industry having started off at Northwest Airlines and since then has worked for several large travel agencies.  She has been with Travel Leaders for over 20 years, and specializes in planning both corporate and leisure travel.  Barb enjoys traveling all over the world to destinations such as Alaska and Hawaii.

 

 

Cathy Skoglund, Vacation Specialist

Cathy’s love of travel started when she first traveled to Europe with her mom at the age of 16.  Since then, with over 20 years experience in the travel industry, she enthusiastically sends clients to Europe and all over the world to experience the different sights and cultures.  She has held a variety of roles from  front line agent to management, as well as positions in corporate, incentive, and leisure travel.  Cathy is a Trafalgar specialist and recommends escorted touring to her clients as a great way to see new areas of the world with no worries.  One of Cathy’s favorite spots to relax is Cancun where she can enjoy the sun and water while snorkeling and visiting fun restaurants.

A native Australian, Lilliane moved to Minnesota in 1996 and continued her career as a travel agent that she began in Australia.  She worked as a leisure agent for 12 years in Australia in an area called Bondi, the location of one of Sydney’s most popular beaches.  Lilliane lived in Australia for 30 years and traveled extensively throughout the country as well as to many Asian countries and the Pacific islands.  Since moving to the United States, Lilliane has worked as a corporate travel agent and enjoys the challenges that she faces every day.  Australia will always be her passion and she is very proud to share what this country has to offer with her clients.

 

Naomi Zupfer, Concert Tour Coordinator

Naomi links the musical aspects of the concert tours with the related travel needs for both international and domestic concert tours. She works closely with directors on the initial planning, secures the concert sponsorships and coordinates with them and her colleagues on the related logistical details of the concert tours.

Naomi’s background in theatre arts and concert choirs helps provide her with the experience and insight needed to create a successful concert tour program.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Theatre Arts from Bethel University, where she also performed in the concert choir for four years. She has been working in arts administration for many years, booking and arranging concerts for a variety of musical groups. Naomi also previously served as General Manager of the National Lutheran Choir and as manager and event coordinator for the Benson Great Hall at Bethel University.

Patt Potter, Concert Tour Financial Coordinator

Patt is an asset to our concert tour program, working behind the scenes to secure the best hotels for the best price for the traveling musical groups.  She has been part of our Concert and Study Tours division since 1999 and has worked as financial planner, land and air coordinator for international as well as domestic concert and study tours. Patt works closely with directors and colleagues in matching the program to their budget and coordinating all pertinent logistical tour details.

Timothy has a diverse background in music, both in performance and arts management. Timothy’s ensemble management experience began while working for Bethel University as the Assistant to the Director of Music Tours, where he worked on domestic tour development and budget management. Following his time at Bethel, he held the position of General Manager of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra in Bloomington, MN. Between these two positions, Timothy has over five years of experience in working with the modern touring ensemble. In addition to his work in music management, Timothy is a countertenor. As an ardent musician, he performs semi-professionally both locally and abroad.
